This purchase includes 3x Tapo T110 Contact Sensors and 1x Tapo H100 Smart Hub with Chime. Tapo enhances home security and convenience through its ecosystem of smart devices managed by the central Tapo Hub. Contact sensors placed on doors and windows allow users to remotely check their status via the Tapo app, eliminating uncertainty. The Hub utilizes an ultra-low power protocol, extending the battery life of connected sensors, switches, and buttons up to tenfold. For integrated security, opening a door or window can trigger paired Tapo pan/tilt cameras to track movement and sound an alarm on the Hub, while real-time app notifications and an activity log provide immediate awareness and review capabilities. Furthermore, these sensors can be paired with smart lighting for automated illumination in designated areas. Installation is effortless with magnetic and adhesive mounting options, and the sensors’ compact size ensures discreet placement throughout the home. Each Tapo contact sensor is measured as 2.42 x 1.48 x 0.48 inches. The Tapo Smart Hub is measured as 2.8 x 2.5 x 2 inches.

Highly Recommended
Both the hub and sensors are easy and straightforward to setup. The hub is first setup by connecting it to your WiFi router via a 2.4 GHz wireless network. It needs an available wall power socket. The sensors connect wirelessly to the hub and are associated with it using the phone or tablet app which also facilitates configuring the hub and sensors. There is a siren on the hub that, depending on its configuration, can function as either an alarm (set to it’s loudest setting) or a chime when a sensor is triggered. I also have several wireless motion-detection sensors (Passive Infra-Red) connected to the hub – everything works smoothly with no fuss. The sensors attach to a wall or door jamb with double-sided tape. This system is superior to my home alarm system due to the facility of instant notifications on my smart phone and the ability to control it from anywhere with an internet connection.

Works flawlessly with Alexa routines
Super easy to set up and extremely reliable. The sensors respond instantly, and I had them tied into my Alexa routines within minutes. They trigger lights, announcements, and automations with zero delay. The size is compact, the adhesive is strong, and the battery life has been great so far. If you want affordable door sensors that work smoothly with a smart home setup, these are perfect.

Great for Garage Doors!
I got these to use in place of a reed switch for my garage doors. I was having trouble finding decently rated reed switches on amazon, reports of melting and incorrectly operating switches glore. Yikes! These work great for this application, and in retrospect, not having to run a wire to a reed switch resulted in a much easier overall installation. Just watch your sensor placement to avoid your doors track. I paired these with some Shelly 1 minis to operate the garage door opener. If you don’t want to mess with electrical wiring to the Shelly, get the Shelly 1 plus version, and you can wire it to a standard 12v DC power cord, and use an normal outlet instead. You’ll have to replace the batteries in these sensors every few years, but that’s easy and cheap enough to do once in a while. They seem durable, I dropped one from 7 feet up onto concrete, and it still works just fine.I set these up in the Tapo app, and then added them to Home Assistant. The tp-link integration works great with the hub and t110 sensors, and they can be used locally without requiring the Tapo app. The sensors sensors seem much more responsive via Home Assistant vs the Tapo app.The only downside is the price, the t110 sensors sell for $20 a piece, but given the quality of reed switches on amazon, I’d rather spend a bit more, and not risk a fire. I purchased another set to install on my entry doors, and will probably put some on my fridge doors eventually as well. If they were cheaper, I’d put them on all my windows too…

Good functioning part of a full Tapp system.
Easy to use with the good Tapo system, set up is easy, durability is okay, had one bust open relatively easy. Makes easy connection, adhesive could be a little stronger. There is no motion detention but tells you well if the door or window has been opened.

Alarm works well, Easy setup
This door alarm worked great. I like that I could setup different alarm triggers. I set one to alarm when the door is opened longer 30 seconds and another alarm that triggers when the door is opened between midnight and 6 am. It’s also nice to setup another hub in our bedroom and have the alarms go off on that hub, mainly when we are sleeping. We had to do this since one hub has to be close to the sensors. It’s also nice to get messages on my phone when the doors open and close. Easy setup.

Easy to set up and alerts you immediately
I have these sensors on the external doors to my house and garage. Once you have it set up, you’ll get a notification in the app when the door is open. You can also customize it so an alarm will sound when the door is opened or stays open for too long. They work great on windows too!

TAPO is the WAY TO GO! Automate your Life like you’re Rich, but quietly on a Budget.
Tapo has quickly become one of my more favorite smart home brands with their wide range of feature-filled gadgets for affordable pricing. Everything is easy to use and I’ve had very little issues with their reliability. These door sensors follow that trend! I open a door, the light switch goes on within a second or occasionally two. Provided, these do require a hub but that takes a load off your router, so it’s preferred! The battery life has been so good, that even when the app claims a battery is getting low, I continued to use the sensor for over a month or two without interruption.I am a bit sketchy with their security, or potential lacking of, considering Tapo descended from Kasa which both are owned ty the questionable Chinese-owned company, TP-Link. I’ve heard of instances where these communicate with Chinese IP Addresses. Who knows what information they send back. That’s a risk with many things in today’s technology… The best way to set these up is to have them on their very own network, isolated from everything but their main API. I’ve used the Kasa/Tapo brand for the past 3 years and I’ve never had any issues!

Useful product with an easy to use app. I use it for my sheds.
Cliente Amazon –
I received this item from amazon.com even though it was ordered from amazon.co.uk therefore it had a US plug, not an issue for me and everything worked fineHowever after a while I wanted to add more sensors which would not bind to the US smart hub as they operate on a different frequency. I bought a second UK hub to resolve the issue. Now I have two hubs and all the sensors are working fine and two alarms which may have the benefit of confusing an intruder for additional time.

Bought the H100 hub (mandatory device in order for the sensor to work correctly) from the same seller. It was not compatible with this device, the sensor was US based, and the hub was EU based. Both work on different frequencies, the pairing failed.
