[APP Notification] When the water leak detector senses a leak, the 2.4GHz WiFi gateway (Note:Not support 5Ghz WiFi) instantly sends real-time alerts to your phone/tablet (requires TUYA Smart App, compatible with iOS/Android), keeping you informed no matter where you are.
[Drip & Flood Detection] Equipped with a top drip sensor and four bottom flood probes, the Water Leak Detector provides early alerts for drips and floor flooding. Ideal for leaks from faucet, roof, sink, bathtub, and washing machine.
[Connect 24 Sensors, Cover 328FT] The 2.4Ghz Wireless Gateway supports pairing with up to 24 water leak sensors (Model: WD61), with a maximum transmission range of 328FT (100M), ideal for comprehensive leak monitoring across various areas like home, basement, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and laundry room.
[Adjustable Volume & 32-Ringtone] The Sensor offers 4 adjustable volume levels (0-120dB), while the 2.4GHz WiFi gateway supports 5 volume levels (0-100dB) and 32 ringtones. Remotely adjust the Gateway’s volume and select ringtones through the TUYA Smart App for added convenience.
[Smart Control via TUYA] Bind devices to the TUYA Smart App to receive remote alerts, control on/off functions, customize Sensor/Gateway names, adjust volume, and select ringtones—offering intelligent management and personalized settings.
[Notice 1] The Gateway (Model: W13) in this product only supports expanding WD61 model sensors, it cannot expand WD60 model sensors (for example, ASIN: B0CKYTP2DM / B0B639K2HL in this store, these WD60 Sensors don’t have Bluetooth and WiFi function).
[Notice 2] TUYA app push notifications are free — such as alerts appear on your phone’s notification bar and lock screen. However, SMS and call alerts are charged by a third-party TUYA publisher, not METAK. Please consider your needs before enabling these services.

Easy to set up and use
I have a house in CA and the insurance company required a leak monitoring system to be installed and verified before they would write a policy. The usual device, which is installed on the backflow valve, could not be installed on my house since it’s a condo. So, my agent said that I could utilize leak detectors, like this one.I had to order two sets since I had to place one under each sink, behind the refrigerator, the dishwasher, washing machine, toilets, etc.Pairing the sensors to the control module was easy as they are already paired from the factory. I had to use 2 control modules since each one was paired to 6 sensors. It actually worked better as I had one module on each side of the house. It paired with my 2.4ghz router (it’s not compatible with 5ghz) quickly and easily. The whole job to put the sensors under 6 sinks, 3 toilets, a washer, refrigerator, a dishwasher and a hot water heater took less than 30 minutes for a 2100 sq foot house. The app is easy to install and intuitive to use. I can monitor my house from my other house is AZ and I now have peace of mind (and homeowner’s insurance) now that these are installed.I like these so much that I’m going to ask my agent in AZ if I can get a discount using these sensors.

A Nesasery Item for the Home
It appears to be working fine. The setup instructions were a bit confusing; I guess going from Chinese to English. Just need to apply common sense and your own brain. I highly recommend this to everyone, no matter what type of structure you live in. Being Wifi connected and an app on your phone is crucial. The noise makers don’t do too much good.

Water Leak Detection & Water Damage Prevention
This product is fantastic; it has worked out so much better than the first name brand one I was using previously. The other was just such a nuisance; the battery life was poor, and the setup and installation were difficult and confusing. Nothing ever worked the way it was supposed to work. These units that go with this hub are small and can fit in the spaces I need them to. They are wireless and communicate with the plug in wall unit, which can be placed anywhere with an outlet. I just connected the wall unit to my wifi and I was up and running. The app is easy to to setup and easy to follow. No weird or confusing technical stuff to figure out. The qpp tells me when the individual units batteries are running low which I think is a very helpful feature to have for sure. I basically set it up once and then kind of forgot about it until a recent incident within our basement. There was some leaking from an old corroded pipe we were totally unaware had any damage and one of the units alerted us, so it has already saved us a lot of money because it is in our gym. I have two more strategically positioned close to two sump pumps, so if they stop operating and the water level increases, I will know right away and be able to get ahead of the problem.

Essential Peace of Mind for Your Home
I purchased these water leak detectors, and I couldn’t be happier with their performance! Having experienced a water line break during a vacation years ago, I understand the importance of having reliable leak detection in place. These devices have been a fantastic addition to my home, providing reassurance that I am protected against potential water damage.I’ve placed them in various locations throughout my house, including behind my coffee maker, where the water line connects to the reservoir. There have been a few moments when I forgot to turn off the water, leading to spills on my countertop. Thankfully, the detectors alerted me immediately, preventing a more severe mess.**Pros:**- Highly effective at detecting leaks- Provides peace of mind- Versatile placement options throughout the home- Quick alerts help prevent water damage**Cons:**- None that I have encounteredOverall, I highly recommend these leak detectors to anyone looking to safeguard their home against water damage. They truly offer great value and reliability!

Great for under-the-sink leak detection
This alarm has been a lifesaver! It has detected and alarmed us to two separate leaks under our kitchen sink. The sensor is easy to place and the phone app is easy to use.

We are in the middle of a bowl of old riverbed on a concrete slab foundation and so when the snow accumulates in a short time and I can’t get it cleared in time that turns into a river that rungs through the garage and right into the house and for a few years we didn’t notice because it was by a fireplace that we don’t use and now we know to check but these are extra protection because these floods tend to happen when you wake up in the morning and the sun has gotten to the snow before we even know it’s gotten warm out, and so that’s what these will be used for, to place all around the point of entry and let me know if it is coming in again. We’re fixing the driveway and so hopefully these will never go off but I did test them on a wet washcloth to make sure they work and boy do they! These things scream! I can see that they are for you to know what’s going on in the basement and I don’t think I heard properly for several hours after testing these. I know it says you can adjust the volume and I might if they go off right in front of me in the winter but right now like I said I am hoping that they will be one of those things that are there but never goes off like the smoke and radon detectors, but if they do I will be glad to know and they do work! These are a great idea if you have water to watch out for and a great investment to avoid getting into a moldy situation.

After dealing with two water damage incidents at home over the last decade, one from a leaky pipe and the other from a faulty shower cartridge, we realized that it’s MUCH CHEAPER to get ahead of the problem. The tricky part with water leaks is that by the time you notice them, the damage is often already done. These little detectors are a smart and relatively inexpensive way to catch things early.I like the design. It picks up on both drips and pooling water using metal probes that sense when something conductive, like water, touches multiple points. It’s also, of course, waterproof (as would be expected given its purpose..). Super simple, but really effective.I was impressed by how loud it is. I tested it by placing one inside the wall under our shower cartridge, and I could hear it clearly across the whole floor. It’s definitely loud enough to wake me up, which is exactly what I want in the middle of the night if something starts leaking. There’s also a feature to link multiple detectors together (up to 24 of them) through the separate purchase of a smart gateway. I don’t have that yet, but I’ll be looking into it as I’ve been wanting a centralized way to monitor multiple sensors at once, and especially one where I can see status updates while I’m away. The only thing I haven’t been able to test yet is battery life. But so far, I’m quite happy with this product.

There is nothing worse than an unexpected flood in your basement and with this in mind I decided that it was time for some type of water alarm. I saw this METAK Water Leak Detector for Home and decided to order it.Upon unboxing you are presented with 2 x water alarms, 4 x AAA batteries, 1 x opening tool and 1 x user manual.PROS:- extremely loud alarm sound (you will definitely hear the alarm when it sounds). Volume is adjustable.- can detect both water seepage and water dripping- easy to setup and operate- can be used with a gateway hub (not included) which allows pairing of up to 24 leak detectors- can also be used without a hubCONS:- lids fit very tightly and can be difficult to open with the included plastic opening tool. I used a metal tool to open the lids and it was much easier to open.Overall, I feel better knowing that these water alarms are on duty in my basement. I have one near my water heater and water softener and one behind my washing machine. This is an item that I hope I never need but if I do I’m glad that it is there monitoring any potential water leaks. Catching a water leak early can mean the difference between just minor damage and tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Based on my experiences using these water alarms I can highly recommend them.RATING 4.5/5.0

These water leak detectors are small enough to fit pretty much anywhere. The low profile means they can be easily slipped under your dishwasher or washing machine, as well as under pipes in your kitchen and bathroom cupboards.I like that they take 2 AAA batteries instead of the button batteries you would expect. AAA’S are cheaper and you can use rechargeable ones. They still seem to be working since I initially installed batteries – I don’t think they chirp when the battery is low, so I regularly check them to make sure the batteries are still good. The alarm itself is loud! While this won’t help if you aren’t home, if you are home you will definitely hear it. These don’t have remote notification capabilities, but you would also pay a lot more for a device that does.If there is just a little bit of water on the floor, you can re-use these once the alarm sounds, but if they got submersed they probably wouldn’t work anymore as there isn’t a waterproof seal where they come apart to insert the batteries. These are great for peace of mind, knowing there is a loud alarm if something starts leaking, without having a large financial commitment.

Saw this while checking for something else and figured it might be a smart backup to have in the laundry room. I’m glad I grabbed it because setup was basically nothing. Just pop in a battery, test the alarm, and put it wherever you want. The volume is no joke either. It’s sharp, clear, and loud enough that you’ll hear it from another room. I tested it with a few drops of water and it triggered almost instantly. The design is compact so it fits easily under a sink or beside a water heater without being in the way. The button for testing is responsive and the plastic casing feels durable enough to take a knock without cracking. I ended up getting another one for the basement after the first worked so well. The only thing that could be better is a low battery alert or some kind of light indicator to let you know it’s still active, but that’s not a dealbreaker if you remember to check it now and then. For something that costs so little and might save you from a soaked floor, it’s a solid little gadget that just does its job.
