Great for trail cameras and remote monitoring where cell service is not available!
After owning a Solium solar security cam that is still working as good as day 1 after several years of use, it was a no brainer to purchase more when I needed cameras for my cabin. My initial use was for a trail cam that could send pictures and video to my phone in an area where no cell phone reception is available but I do have wifi. Surprisingly I could not find a trail cam that used wifi to remotely send pictures. When searching, I came across this 4 pack at a great price (it’s even lower now that it is prime day). I used the other 3 for security cameras around the property and I must say they are an improvement over my older Solium. They do their best to separate notifications into movement, vehicles, and people. When a person is detected, the camera will follow that person and then return to a default position that you set when the person is out of view. Also, if an object is detected on multiple cameras it creates a collection of recordings so you can follow its path completely. Although human detection has been spot on, I don’t think it knows what a deer is yet because I have gotten notifications that it is human or even a vehicle. Picture quality and night vision exceed expectations and since there are no cords, setup was a breeze. Overall these cameras are not perfect, but for the amount of features you get for the price, I couldn’t be happier.

Fantastic security cameras for price.
I love these cameras. They are a great value for the price but don’t think that they are just average. We bought the kit with 2 cameras for added security. The actual installation is quick and easy with little tools required except a drill with the proper bit. I love these these are solar so there is less cords and wiring plus the solar panel cord is 10 feet long so you can mount it in a spot that gets good sunlight even if you are installing a camera on your porch like we did. The small unit in the house is about the size of a pen holder and it already comes with a 32 gig SD card. It requires no monthly subscription and has great features like the ability to speak through a microphone, night vision and infrared. It also follows human detection as long as someone is in camera range for great security. Being solar battery life is fantastic but the camera can also be charged with the included USB C charger included for use when the weather is cloudy so the camera is always functional. There is an app that you install on your phone so you can always see what the camera might find when you are away from home. I can’t say enough about the quality, great value, more expensive features included for the price point. If you want to have added security for your home or business buy these!

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before ordering these. I wanted cameras that I did not have to run power to and that would auto-track. These are solar powered and have auto-tracking. One must charge these completely before installing them for best results. The solar panels can screw directly into the tops of the camera mounts, or you can mount them separately. The cords to the panels are of sufficient length for most any mounting requirements. The video quality is very good. The auto-tracking works quite well. They were already paired with the home base/hub. The app is pretty straightforward and mostly user friendly. It’s easy to download and share videos. You are limited to a maximum of 60 seconds of video, but that’s what you deal with using a solar powered system as opposed to a hard-wired system providing continuous power. There are many settings that help you to tweak your preferences. While reviewing a video clip, you can use your finger to circle a face or person or object, and it will temporarily magnify that circled area. You can have each camera sleep for times that you might be outside, etc. The cams have microphones for conversations. There are settings for causing security lighting to illuminate during an event. It just takes some time to go through and choose your preferences. The instructions are pretty good. Thus far, I have had great success with notifications being almost instantaneous. For the price and ease of installation, this is a very good system. Especially for someone like me that doesn’t want to try to run power cords and cables everywhere.A few things I did not like that this system lacks. You are limited to 4 cameras. There is no adding additional cameras later. This will take additional base units. There are no settings to eliminate some zones. This is sometimes tricky in getting a camera set just right in order to capture people or vehicles coming onto your property while eliminating the captures of passing vehicles and people. There is no way to have these cameras to be viewed on a separate monitor. You are limited to your phone/tablet via the app. In the app (I provided a screenshot), under the “Security” tab and titled “Scene”, you are given options of HOME, AWAY, and DISARM. Once you have chosen one of these options, the setting beside each device initially changes to your selection. If you change your selection again while in that same tab, the changes are not reflected until you close and reopen the app, or you switch back and forth between tabs.I would give this system 4.5 stars but am rounding up for the review.
