    See you Der
Set this up in Home assistant to turn lights on in the kitchen. Have not had an issue months later. Great product!

Great device when it decides to keep working
It worked great, once I got it figured out with routines through my echo, but occasionally (becoming more often) I have to disconnect and te connect because it quits working.I can’t find a way to app for it, in order to see if it is the device or the zigbee connection.I would also like to adjust sensitivity, but if I can keep it working, then it will be great for the price.

These things are actually pretty damn awful
It seems the only thing they do correctly is a seamless and fast connection to your Sonoff hub/dongle or Zigbee network. The actual presence-sensing capabilities is atrocious. If it’s not locked into a false detection state (despite not having any fans, air, pets, etc, anywhere near it’s cone), then it’s literally ignoring any actual human presence at all, no matter what sensitivity you have it set to or whether you’re standing right in front of it. I don’t think I would recommend these to anyone. I’m just gonna bite the bullet and spend money on an Everything Presence or Aqara FP2 at this point.

    Smart home Sensor
Works with openHAB software, So you can keep the smart home access to your own internal system, no need to share over the internet. We have it magnetically stuck to our lamp. At first it was at an angle that it picked up or sensed us moving down the hallway when the door was open, we had to adj it so it only sensed us entering the room. It’s wonderful I never have to remember to turn the light off.Shipping was quick and packaging was adequate for an electronic device. We were so happy with the set up and execution of the expected use that we bought some more for the other rooms of the house.

    Range is questionable
Have not had the greatest success with this. Technically it works, but seems to only register presence when I am <10ft away. I have it in an open pole barn, a room roughly 30x20. I made it work by placing it to monitor the area I am most frequently in.

    Dual Detection Bathroom Setup
After some testing I decided to use a dual detection setup for my guest bathroom. The lights are turned on by a regular motion sensor and they are turned off when this device stops detecting presence. Set both sensors to 30 second timeout.I had false positives when trying to use this device to turn on the lights because it detects outside of the room. Aiming it away from other occupied rooms and towards the hallway was necessary. I tried placing device on the counter however the granite seemed to reduce or block detection while using tub and toilet so I mounted it on wall.

    Impressive Technology
This is my first sensor of this type, using it with Homey Pro. I added it to Flows, automations, and works great. Very responsive. Adding the device was very easy, there is an app for it with Homey, I am considering replacing a couple more standar motion sensors with this type. Only negative is that it is not battery powered.

The Sonoff SNZB-06P claims it is a presence detector but cannot track a target. If a person stops moving (like watching TV or reading), the Sonoff presence sensor will not register presence.Unlike other presence sensors on the market, the Sonoff does not register illumiance values. It only registers “dim” or “bright.”I cannot recommend this product. I will continue to use my Aqara PIR sensors, which do a far better job than this expensive version of a motion sensor. On the bright side, it integrated well into my Home Assistant using Zigbee2MQTT.

I recently added this Zigbee presence sensor/router to my setup, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. It arrived promptly and matched the description exactly.Once installed, it connected directly to my Home Assistant system with zero hassle. I now have the flexibility to choose which room it monitors and define what automations trigger — for example, when someone enters the room, the lights come on; when the room is unoccupied, the power goes off. What impressed me most is its strength as a Zigbee router: it not only detects motion reliably, but also helps extend my Zigbee network’s stability and range across multiple rooms. If you’re looking for a versatile sensor that both enhances your Home Assistant automation capabilities and serves as a robust Zigbee network node, this is a great choice. Highly recommended!

It is indeed a presence sensor with light detection as advertised.its light detection is very simple with it either showing as light or dark. The presence detection has levels of sensitivity ranging from low medium and highBeyond that there is no room or zone setup like you get on more expensive units. For simple functions that need more then a motion detector or where heat interference makes them useless this well work great. It does require ziggbee hub be it a standalone one or one connected to home assistant. One thing tot take into account is this may look directional but its not. It’s omnidirectional which isn’t a issue for normal walls but thin walls well be seen through. There is a metal plate inside at the back to try and prevent this but it doesn’t work to block the singal.

These are great presence sensors, make sure to upgrade them to the latest 1.0.6 firmware before you start using them. Currently I have 6 of these for about 6 months and have no issues. Only reason for 4 starts is they are a bit tricky to put in the right spot so it won’t detect motion in another room. These work very well with homeassistant.
