Quality Monitor with Unique Screen Size
The Samsung Odyssey g7 37″ is a real quality machine. When I first saw the 37″ size I was curious and with there being so little reviews so I took the leap and bought it. I upgraded from a Samsung Odyssey g5 to this one and the upgrade was drastic; the picture quality is top tier, the color accuracy is shockingly good, and the contrast is very good for a non OLED display. The refresh rate is good for me mostly because I game with a console. I do miss the UltraWide 21:9 sometimes but being able to watch most videos without black bars is always a plus and it’s a huge monitor so it is not lacking in screen real estate. Overall, It’s a very good monitor but the price is definitely what sets it back, I bought mine used- like new- so I saved some money but do not buy it for full price as there are much better OLED alternatives for the around the same price new.

A software engineer’s dream monitor
As a software engineer I love having a single large display. It has to have very high resolution, brightness, and ideally a decent refresh rate. I prefer a single display over two monitors because I don’t like moving my neck so much throughout the day. For the same reason I’m not a fan of ultra-wides.Until now I’ve been using the Gigabyte M32UC – an absolutely fantastic 32″ monitor that checks all the boxes above. The only thing I wanted beyond what the Gigabyte offers is a bit more surface area.Over the past few years I’ve tried a few other options, but none of them did it all: some were too dark, some had bad refresh rate, some were too wide.When I saw that Samsung had recently released this one I bought it immediately.It checks all boxes. The curve is more aggressive than my Gigabyte and I love it. Brightness and refresh rate are great and the resolution is top notch. This is the best monitor I’ve ever owned and I suspect it will be a long time until one is good enough to replace it. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to recommend it.

Excellent Large-Format Monitor for Work
Perfect as one of my three work monitors. Clear, bright, and impressively large with great resolution. Took a little getting used to, but now I’m thinking of adding another one. Mostly use for browser and spreadsheets, but have found no issues with video and the little bit of gaming I do.

Best Monitor For The Money!
This monitor honestly exceeded my expectations. Definitely the best monitor I’ve ever owned. Coming from a 27 inch 1080p curved monitor this thing is NIGHT AND DAY!Running my business is much more enjoyable with this thing, the colors are gorgeous and the refresh rate makes thing super smooth.When I switch over to my XBOX series X it’s even better. 4k at 120HZ is an experience on this monitor.

Very nice Monitor for gaming and general use.
I originally got the 40” ultra wide Samsung G75 but found I couldn’t get used to the widescreen feel. Made me dizzy even after adjusting FOV and resolution. So exchanged it for this one and was nervous whether I’d made the right choice. Glad to say I did. I much prefer the height of the screen rather than the narrow letterbox look.I did look into Oleds but I’ve had an Oled TV and it got pretty severe burn in from the kids leaving it on the Home Screen so one of the app buttons left its mark on the screen. That combined with the thought of having static images on the screen when gaming or work just leaves me more than a little nervous. So with that said, Oled was not really gonna be a choice for me.The monitor itself is nicely packaged and the unit is well built with a solid stand. HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 connections make it much more compatible for any screen resolution you wanna try.I like the curve too as with the screen size it makes for a very immersive feel when gaming, especially FPS games.Overall I’m very happy with this monitor and see me using this for quite a while yet. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because of the lack of speakers. I think even just some small ones would have been nice.

it’s Fantastic
I’m loving this monitor! it works great, it looks great! I wanted a big and TALL normal aspect ratio monitor because I hate the ultra wide aspect ratio for 90% of use cases. This monitor fits the bill perfectly. It beats the pants off trying to use a flat TV standard PC stuff and it’s not as big as a TV would be either. I have it on a long gas strut monitor arm so I can scoot it around my desk as needed. I have a 34” ultrawide OLED alienware and it’s unplugged and unused in another room note that I have this monitor.
