Solid purchase.
Completely transforms the iPad mini. I’m not sure I have ever been this satisfied with an Amazon purchase. Long term durability and functionality are to be determined but my initial impressions are that this keyboard is exactly as advertised. It’s not particularly robust but I’m not sure that could be accomplished along with how well it performs at this price point.

Great Pocket Keyboard!
This keyboard is a great find in my opinion. Excellent quality for a design that folds up into a small form-factor for travel. Battery life seems to be good. I have not had to charge it yet since I first topped it off. Unfortunately, I do not see a way to check battery charge levels though. This IS a FULL SIZE keyboard when unfolded, and the bezels around the functional parts is extremely minimal which maximizes utility per square inch. They keys feel good to the touch and makes for a great typing experience. The joints CAN over-extend slightly beyond flat, but this has not shown any issues or concerns. The build is very solid and has a very sleek sliding exterior shell that moves in a modular fashion as the keyboard folds and unfolds. They dual trackpad/10-key functions are also a great addition for extra functionality. Only thing to be aware of, is it is NOT the easiest keyboard to learn with all of the secondary, tertiary, and other functionality built in, and they instructions do NOT start with English … so you have to kind of search for the relevant instruction panels in a large unfolding sheet of paper that reminds me of old maps. I would like to see the instructions redesigned, but the device is great in my opinion.

Nice solid portable keyboard that works and feels good.
Works like as expected. Acts like a real keyboard and feel just right when I press the keys. The keys have a proper amount of resistance and press depth. The unit hooks up to Bluetooth connection properly and quick and stays connected so I can’t find any compatibility issues.. It looks great and fits into tight places to store when folded. One thing, I can’t find a way to lock it open. It tends to want to bend at the hinges when layer on uneven surfaces.

Nillkin never disappoints
This is the second one of these I got now, I was so happy to see that it was added back to vine because after getting the first one and using it with my tablet my sister saw and she really liked it so I said I would try to get her one and so now that I got this second one I can finally give it to her. As I said many times before, Nillkin has some of the best cellphone accessories on the market, from their cases to these other accessories that I honestly didn’t even know they had. The little keyboard is so small when it’s folded up so it’s super easy to carry with you anywhere, it literally fits right in your pocket but then when you open it up it’s about the size of like a 60% keyboard which is great and the keys are very comfortable to use while typing. It even comes with a trackpad which is another plus because you don’t gotta have a separate mouse. It comes with a nice carrying case as well which is great. Overall this is an amazing keyboard to have just in your backpack or something at all times as like a backup and at the same time it’s more than good enough to be a main keyboard for a tablet or something. I definitely recommend it.

The best folding keyboard I’ve ever used. One minor gripe.
I’ve had a number of folding portable keyboards over the years. This is far and away my favorite. I’m actually typing this review using the keyboard with my Galaxy Fold 7.I’ve so far paired it to three different devices. All worked well.The instructions that came with it are lacking and mostly visual. The issue here is that the expected pairing process isn’t typical. With other devices, a long press usually initiates paring mode. Not the case here. You select the device then use another key sequence to initiate pairing.But there is so much to like here!First of all, I love the matte rubberized finish. It’s durable, grippy, and looks great.Second, the key travel is fantastic! It just feels great to type on.Third, the trackpad is the smoothest feeling I’ve encountered with a folding keyboard.Finally, it’s both compact and very light. Despite the weight, it still feels very durable.Now the gripe: Unlike other folding keyboards I’ve used, the action of folding it back up when you’re done using it doesn’t seem to immediately end the connection or power it down. That’s annoying if you’re using this while paired to your phone. Why? Well, when you go to use the phone, your onscreen keyboard isn’t going to appear because the device thinks it’s still actively paired.So you’ll have to use the physical switch on the keyboard or wait for a while until the keyboard enters sleep mode via the timer. Not ideal. Folding the keyboard should end the connection like other devices.Not a big deal though, because on every other front, this is just an incredible keyboard.
