Breville Makes the Best!
Best kettle I have owned. I love the ability to choose the temperature of the water. It is my favorite feature. The exterior is a nice aesthetically pleasing mat black and the interior is stainless steel. It’s easy to clean and a great size for 2-3 generous mugs of tea. The exterior does get hot and it takes a bit of time for the water to reach temperature, but I didn’t purchase it for speed. It is one of the more expensive electric kettles, so I waited until I had a gift card to buy, but now that I own it, I can confirm it is well worth the price.

My initial review is below. I may need to fall on the sword on this one. Breville replaced the kettle after all of my complaining. As it turns out, it may have been all for naught, and I may have misunderstood the warming feature. It appears to be working as intended. The owner’s manual is less clear than it could have been. In any event, while I’ve only had the kettle for a short time, it appears to be as advertised and a very nice product.My earlier review:New kitchen. New kettle. We can all agree this is an expensive kettle. It heats the water just fine. The warming feature (designed to keep the water at the temperature chosen for 20 minutes after initial heating – in our case, 200 degrees) stopped working after just a few uses (we’ve owned this since May 2025). I’ve been trying to get Breville to honor the warranty. First, tried calling the customer service phone number. Due to the high volume of calls – you all know that ridiculous message – they were to call back. I either never received the call, or I was unavailable when they called – no message left if they did try to call. Now I’ve opened a case online. So far, customer service has sent two different emails asking that I check various electrical things in my house and asked questions about the condition of the unit. I’ve just responded for the second time, and sent pictures without having to be asked. We’ll see if they actually stand by the warranty on one of the most expensive kettles on the market. I’ll update this review if they actually come through to my satisfaction – i.e., just take the thing back or exchange it.

Features and Functionality Exceeded Expectations
I really like the features of this kettle. The cordless operation and easy-to-fill design are game changers. The LED indicator and auto shut-off ensure safety, and the design is simply stunning. It operates quietly, and the quick boiling time is impressive. So much love for this efficient and beautiful tea kettle!

Mate Machine at Perfect 175 Degrees
Mate tea is best brewed at temperatures between 160 and 180 degrees. This kettle comes with a ‘Green White’ preset button set at 175, which is perfect to brew mate tea.This kettle in ‘Red Velvet Cake’ color is truly gorgeous. I spent close to two hours researching the best electric kettle on Amazon, and this one made by Breville ended up being the very best one, in my humble opinion, based on price and quality.I needed an electric kettle to have hot water all night while I work in my basement home office because a thermos wouldn’t keep the water properly hot for more than an hour. So, I had to go and reheat water upstairs 2 or 3 times every night. I work third shift, and that was a pain because my family sleeps upstairs, and going up and down more than needed always increased the probability of my noise waking them up.So, this kettle solved both problems for me, and I already own three other Breville appliances with great success, and they have been working flawlessly for many years: a juicer, an espresso maker, and a hand mixer.As you can see by my pictures, it is really well-made and very pretty. Made by an excellent company.Highly recommended!

Dead after 23 months of use
Beautiful and functional up until almost 2 years. This product was a game changer in our daily lives; aesthetically pleasing and functionally top notch for roughly 23 months. Just yesterday during and after heating water, it started “ghost” beeping and switching modes from green tea to French press, then black tea to full boil. It would ghost beep randomly throughout the day; switch modes during and after the heating process. It is on the fritz and unhinged! We tried to reset after checking for loose wiring, dust, debris, pressing the start/cancel button as well as the warm function button for 10 seconds. No change. Very disappointing that such an expensive, seemingly high quality appliance is dead after barely two years of use.

Quality build. Color selection.
We ordered both the kettle and toaster oven in Damson Blue. Major improvement to the look of the kitchen. A mini kitchen remodel.The temperature setting is not accurate. I expected that. I use the boil setting for everything.I deducted a star for the temperature setting. I would buy it again.Word of caution.The kettle is heavy. Very heavy. Think of La Cruesett. Not recommended for most elderly people.

Hottest blue number in the kitchen.
We go thru a lot of kettles at my house. Some are cheap, others expensive, and honestly they all pretty much work the same. But this hot little Breville number is different. Not only do some of then tea totalers in the house like to steep at varying temps but I — as a person who loves it hot — get my brew boiling hot, even if I forget to use the water I boiled (as long as I remember to hit “keep warm”). Unlike previous kettles I’ve had, this one even tells me that it finished boiling the water. While I’d love it if I could leave the water on keep warm for longer than 20 min. or pour a cup and replace the kettle without the keep-warm function turning off, it doesn’t — and neither do any competitors I know of. But for now, this blue babe is awfully cute and has a reasonable small footprint but with a big belly for water. And since we use it at least 4x per day, if it lasts as well as my other Breville appliances, I’ll be thrilled.

Tienes en tres minutos agua caliente y en grados diferentes para preparar distintos tipos de tés. Mantiene la temperatura del agua por un buen rato. Tiene muy buena capacidad y además es liiinda y luce en mi cocina!!! La súper recomiendo!!!!
