Great pot, shower head and degas setting.
Very basic, no programming. Easy to clean. The pot is where the$$ is. Keeps coffee warm for hours. 1 cup = 5 oz. Love the bloom/degas setting as i use fresh beans (roasted less than 3 weeks prior and ground prior to brewing). I have had mine for 1 year and bought this for my mother

Good no frills coffee maker.
Makes great coffee without frills. I don’t need a “smart” device for coffee — or a radio, timer, clock, or wifi. Have used an earlier version that had a different style basket that covered the top of the carafe; this one doesn’t sit in the carafe so allows the coffee to cool if the pouring lid is not screwed on immediately after brewing (so, minus one star). It does beep to signal that brewing is complete, so cooling can be prevented if you are paying attention.

Cold Coffee?!
I got tired of thinner and thinner glass carafes from B that break easily. I opted for the thermal metal carafe. It’s not thermal at all. After the first cup of coffee, the rest is Luke warm because there is NO heating element under it in short, the cold interior of the carafe sucks out the heat from the coffee. I instantly got tired of heating my coffee in the microwave. Really guys!!!!!

This is a simple coffee maker that makes a fabulous pot of coffee! The water heats quickly, but distributes the water over the grounds evenly and slowly, resulting in a full-bodied cup every time! Makes a mess of your counter
Good coffee, horrible design. Probably the biggest issue I have is that the carafe and lid don’t fit in the machine if the basket is still attached. So, you either need to leave the pot on the counter or find a place to leave the basket where it won’t drip all over the place (usually the sink). Then, if the carafe and lid are not BONE DRY, the gasket doesn’t properly seal. So no matter how hard I try to be neat, there’s always a dribble or two that leaks out from under the lid. Again, good coffee but terrible design.

Improved Bonovita.
I’m enjoying my first delicious cup of coffee from the Bonavita. Overall, this model is an improvement over the old, which I have had 11+ years. The carafe is all stainless steel inside and out, no more glass lining. The basket now hangs over the carafe rather than sit on top of it. Basket filters are now required. I prefer the #4 cone filters, which are easier to store. The lid to the carafe has no home during non use. It doesn’t fit on the carafe when the basket is in place nor, does it fit inside the hung basket. A design flaw. The coffee is delicious and is brewed quickly.
