Best kettle I’ve ever owned!
absolutely love this kettle, and not just cuz it looks cool! The handle is actually comfortable! The popular cork handles of othe models make my jacked up shoulder worse, but not this kettle!The pouring action is very smooth, and easy on my arm. The heating action is FAST, easily the fastest working kettle I’ve ever owned. It’s so easy to use right out of the box, the buttons and functions are very intuitive, I could tell what to do just by looking at the display, before I’d even opened the instructions. (Which I *did* read, but apparently didn’t need to.)It’s also the quietest kettle over ever owned I really didn’t realize how loud my old kettle was till I heard this one going. It’s whisper quiet in comparison!!My only room to kvetch is I wish it held more water, but I don’t actually *need* bigger, the capacity on this one is perfectly fine. I’m very pleased with this kettle!

I love:1. The temperature choices that allow me to precisely warm for my lemon water vs blanch veggies vs soak orzo or quinoa vs boil and make the perfect pot of tea2. Was always careful with a previous kettle to turn the spout away from the cabinets and towards the middle of the kitchen so that the steam would not ruin my cabinets – this one magically contains the steam and I can use it on the back of the counter3. It’s really large and heats a lot of water at once. That works well for me because I have an electric stove and prefer not to wait for water to boil in a pot. Instead, I always boil in the kettle and transfer to the pot for efficiency.The only drawback, which does not affect me, is that it is heavy. My 85yo mother could not use this, because once it’s filled, she’d have challenges.Otherwise, it’s beautiful and complements my decor perfectly.

I like better than cuisinart
I got this to replace my Cuisinart electric kettle that also had various temp settings to boil the perfect cup of tea. The cuisiart died after 10 y or so; the lid no longer opened. The buttons had worn off but it still heated. Besides looking more elegant, this seems to heat faster and I don’t accidentally burn my knuckles by touching th carafe. I also like the digital T. If I boiled water and forgot about it, you can check the temp to know if you need to boil again, or if the water T is still fine.I live in area with well water, so I’ve only put purified water in the kettle (couple times spring water. I bought it Nov 2021 and I have yet to descale it (6/2023). Looks brand new. Use multiple times per day.I wish it were available in a sleek white; almost didn’t get it since it didn’t exactly match but I’m glad I did.Easier to keep the outside clean than cuisinart too.One quibble: to me, neither the cuisinart or this are truly cordless. The kettle sits on a base; the base has short cord to plug in to outlet. Once water heated, the kettle is lifted from the disc (the disc has the cord), and you can carry to table or wherever without the cord. I think this technicality is important bc you really can’t take it camping unless you have electric. Seems like there could be rechargeable kettles like charge once a week or something.One other thing that could be better is if you could see the water level from outside the kettle. That feature present on cuisinart, but not a deal breaker for me. This is a much superior electric kettle that I had been waiting for, for years. The price has come down a lot since 11/2021 too so it’s a steal now.8/2024 still in perfect condition. Using filtered water, I’ve never had to descale it. Fast. The fact that I can’t see the water level through the pot bothers me less as the minimum water is just less than 2 mugs of tea, and the almost full makes a quart.

Love the size and digital display, It matches my toaster that is also piano black with digital display. The handle is a little big but don’t really notice it anymore. I never had a kettle that you could select the temperature you want and it is easy to do so. Also has a keep warm feature where you can leave the kettle and it will keep heating as needed to stay at that temperature. As far as performance I would have to say it heats up fairly quick compared to my previous kettles. It is very nice quality, not cheaply made by any means. On the down side when you pick up the kettle from base it doesn’t remember your settings other than temp setting when you replace it on base however its so easy to set its not an issue for me. The other thing id although the lid opens up easily by pushing the button i feel it should open wider than it does, kind of have to tilt it a bit if you have a large pull down sprayer faucet but again not a deal breaker. I hummed and hawed awhile before purchasing as I never heard of krups but im so glad Ipurchased it as I think compared to the price of other kettles this is a steal for the quality and size.

De calidad, fácil de usar, calienta el agua rápido, estilo moderno. Sólo viene en Fahrenheit, pero uno se acostumbra rápido. Muy satisfecho con mi compra.
