Cheaper than a Kill A Watt, better than a Kill A Watt, easier to use than a Kill A Watt. Okay. Maybe not that last part. But still, for the very low amount of money I paid for this, it does work absurdly well. I bought this from one of my school’s final projects, and it gives me accurate readings so I’m quite happy.

No instructions included in the box but it’s not hard to figure out. Found out my DJ system only pulls about 100 watts with everything plugged in. Looking to buy a battery power station and now I know what watt hours I need.

A quality product
This product I trust much more than the cheaper chinese electricity meters, especially when bad electrical components could cause a fire. I originally bought a cheap Chinese product, but the product did not work to my expectations

Poor information presentation of energy used over time.
Accumulated time only displays 24 hours if you want to know how many days you go to the Cost and scroll to find the number of days and add hours to get total accumulated hours recorded. No display of usage per day/week/month. Not useful for understanding what you have used over a given week or month easily.I have used other meters which provide this information in a much more straightforward manner.The instructions are vague and not really great because of technical clutter and a lack of detail that helps the user understand what they are viewing.

BAD INSTRUCTIONS
The meter itself is nicely built, functions accurately, and provide me with most of the information I need. I say most, because the sheet of paper included with the shipment, that they claim to be instructions, are — ‘expletive deleted’ ! I have been using the meter for some weeks now, but haven’t yet figured out how to reset the kilowatt hours ! My guess is that this bit of information is somehow encoded in that gibberish written in English words ,on that piece of paper, but as of yet I haven’t figured out the cypher. Part or the problem lies squarely with AMAZON. Most of the products I have purchased through Amazon, seem to contain the same scribbles that are claimed to be instructions but are, my guess is, meaningless even to the sellers! Amazon should make sellers hire people raised in the country, and fluent with the language of the country, where the product is being marketed, to write meaningful, understandable, instructions, for the actual piece of merchandise we are paying our money for and making Amazon rich ! — strong language to follow…

From a non-expert: simple to use and seems accurate enough
I wanted to get an idea of the power draw from a few of my devices, before purchasing a portable battery unit to take on the go. This power monitor had good reviews so I went for it – arrived quickly, and without really knowing much I read the quick instructions and plugged it in, and it just worked. Was actually quite neat to see the various readouts, and the changes as I plugged in different combinations of my devices. I’ll probably start using this all over the house to find out how much power things are really pulling. I’d say the main bonus of this power monitor is the simplicity – for a novice like me, it was incredibly easy to set up and use. I agree with some of the reviews that say the display can be a bit challenging to read if you have it plugged in low to a wall socket near the ground – you may have to get right down there on the ground to see it well. But for me that wasn’t a big deal.

Fonctionne très bien, contrairement à plusieurs témoignages! En cliquant sur la touche Energy on obtient la tension, la fréquence, l’ampérage et le plus important le wattage. Un seul point négatif, il faut regarder l’écran un peu de côté pour voir exactement le bon chiffre car on voit les points entre les chiffres si on regarde directement et c’est difficile de dire la valeur.

Es relativamente fácil de usar, pero no tiene un instructivo. Solo una hojita que dice cómo cambiar de modo. Hay que buscar en internet que significan algunas cosas. Pero al final realmente vale la pena.
