    Pulsioximetro veterinario

    Perfect dog monitor
It is such a relief to have this device. I purchased the ear monitor for my sick dog and both work very well. It is such a relief to be able to easily monitor my dog’s oxygenation.

    4 stars!
The alarm function, which alerts me to high or low pulse rates and oxygen levels, ensures that I stay informed about my health status at all times. It provide accurate readings of my SpO2 levels and pulse rate, but it also offers the convenience of a large color LCD display. Its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features make it a highly recommended product for anyone looking to take charge of their health.

Comes w/sensors for adults humans, not pets
This is a good pulse oximeter if you need to track someone’s pulse and oxygen saturation at home or in a mobile health care situation. It tracks and stores this data, as well. You could leave it connected a the person for monitoring, and can also attach a temperature sensor. You can set alarms to beep if pulse, SpO2 or temp. goes out of range. This comes with a finger SpO2 sensor for an adult, and a smaller finger attachment for a child or a toe. This works well on me, and tracks the data on-screen. It also has a temperature probe, but with no sleeve or other attachment. I tried using that under my arm and got a temp of 95 -a bit lower than expected, yet it you have a baseline, you can monitor trends. I don’t know how to download or view the data later, or how to access past data. There was NO PAPER OR DOWNLOADABLE MANUAL nor any directions provided in the box. There IS a tiny CD without a label that may have directions on it, but as I do not have a device to access CD content on, I’m not 100% sure. I do think that the company needs to provide a paper manual for a device like this, especially at a 139.$ price point, and especially considering tbat CDs aren’t widely used, most laptops do not have CD drives, and few people have desktop computers nowadays. I can buy a portable CD player for my laptop, but tbis should not be the only way to see a user manual. At the very least, I should be able to download a manual online (also not offered!). Yet at the price of this device, easily accessible instructions should come with it!There are optional accessories shown on tbe box that are NOT included: a neonatal SpO2 sensor, a child SpO2 sensor, and a veterinary sensor. The box itself simply says “Handheld Pulse Oximeter”. However, since this is marketed on Amazon as a “Veterinary Pulse Oximeter”, I expected it to come with sensors to use in a veterinary setting, rather than having only sensors for adult humans.*See pics.

Helped me care for my dog
As my dog has gotten older, I wanted to be more in control of his health. With this oximeter, I can keep track of his vitals on a daily basis so I know when he needs extra help or when I need to see the vet. I’m very happy to have this around the house when I need it.

    Made for pets
Do you want a pulse ox for your dog or cat? Well it took me a little while to figure this out. I tried it on his ear and lip. I had to remove the rubber covers then I could get a solid reading. I was able to use it on my own finger with no issues either my golden did not give me any issues with it. It is extremely easy to use. It did come with a temperature probe. I did use this in my arm pit and it worked correctly. 5 stars I like that you can order additional pulse ox clips for humans (adult and kids) I could not get the pulse ox to work on the ear of my golden with or with out the rubber pads. It would only work with out the rubber pads on the lip. I tried his tongue but could not get him to relax to make that work. The unit comes with a rechargeable battery installed. The battery was in a bag but still worked. I removed the bag anyways.

Handheld Pulse Oximeter with a Stand and Silicone Cover
This one has a nice large display in color, shows pulse, oxygen level and heart beat wave. It also has a temperature sensor which I haven’t used yet. The user manual is on a small DVD but most folks no longer have DVD players on their computer. The orange cover is made of silicone and the removable wired stand is a convenient touch. When I ordered this, I did not realize that this was for veterinary use. Aside from the temperature sensor, it seems to me that it would be suitable for human use as I placed my finger in the finger sensor. The annoying alarm/beep could frighten animals. I will try to test this on my pets. I compared it to the small compact finger sized pulse oximeter that I already have. The numbers were identical. The battery compartment has spots for 4 AAA batteries and a rectangular Li-ion battery is included. I am not sure if there is an internal battery. I connected directly to an outlet via included USB cable with no batteries installed, although something appears to be charging up.

    Oximeter for veterinary use
Trying to figure this out with no instructions. It comes with a CD but windows 10 did away with CD/DVD support so I can’t access it. They need to put a printed manual with it. After 15 minutes of trying to figure it out, I give up. It comes with cables and a rechargeable battery. I guess I have to be a vet to use and figure it out. Because of no manual I’m taking away two stars.
