Easy install. Quiet supplemental heat source.
This is the second try to install this Envi unit in my kennel. When the temps dip below 30 degrees in Virginia my mini split cant keep up. This week, the Envi kicked in as my supplemental heat source and kept my dogs toasty. Totally quiet, it boosted the interior temp to exactly what was set on the primary thermostat! It draws so few amps that both heaters can be used during an outage on genny power. Such a comfort. Really like the unit! Just what I needed. Hope the electric bill will make me doubly happy!

More power!!
I’ve owned and appreciated the original version of this product and the newer “smart” version for several years, and the 500W models work great for smaller spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms, but my office does not have central heat at all and on cold mornings needed a bit more heat than those units could provide to quickly get the room up to a comfortable temperature in the morning. So the “max” version with twice the heat output just makes sense.This is, in most respects, identical to the “smart” 500W version. It uses the same excellent installation procedure where you don’t need a tape measure, or level, or even drill to get it installed exactly right, just a Phillips screwdriver and the included hole template. (you do need to put 2 holes in the drywall, but I just punch the screwdriver through rather than drilling, I think it creates less dust) It uses the same app and same very simple pairing process. And has the same nice features of silent operation and no too-hot-to-touch surfaces. Where it differs is it is about 30% thicker, has twice the heat output, and has a much larger, color, display that is easily read at a distance.For my office I created a schedule on the app that sets the thermostat to 68F about 15 minutes before I usually start work and drops it to 45F at the end of the work day. With the schedule running I can basically ignore the heater entirely. It keeps my office comfortable when I’m there and uses a minimal amount of power to keep things from getting excessively cold when I’m away.

No hardware, No heat!
Item appeared unopened and in pristine condition. Unfortunately, no mounting hardware was included. Heater cannot be used if it’s not mounted. With a large solar array just installed, I was planning on buying more Envi heaters for the winter to avoid using gas(too expensive) for my current boiler system. Will continue looking for alternative.

Very impressed and pleased.
I had trouble setting up the phone link, but I’m terrible at that stuff. I still need to insert the cord for aesthetics.This sits very flush to the wall and works great. We use wood for our main heating. We were gone over night and the house temperature was exactly what we had programmed.A vent baffle would be nice, the wall above feels a little warm.

Very Good Very Happy
I like everything about this except I would make the keypad easier to use. The app is much easier than using the buttons on the heater. It would be nice for a guest or person not good with complex adjustments to be able to just hit something that is like up button and down button… It’s not that difficult once you learn it, but it’s just not intuitive.Also, I would recommend that Envi come up with a wifi thermostat that can be mounted across the room for better temperature readings and easy intuitive controls that people are already accustomed to.Great packaging, great heating, don’t get the 500w unless you are literally heating a closet… it’s not enough. I tried a 500 at a friend’s house and I am SO glad I got the 1000 and would have bought a 1500 if it were available. It does have a smell on first use… It was stronger smell than I thought and took longer than I thought to go away, but it did… Probably at least 24 hours worth of running hot to go away.Very happy and would buy again… especially with those couple upgrades…And also very happy it’s made in USA!

Quiet, small and powerful heater.
Runs extremely quiet. Heats a room up to 350 sq. ft. Not windy or dust producing. It was easy to install on the wall. Plugs right in. Very happy with the purchase. Watch for sales!!

Great Product
Great little heater. Silently sits on the wall and warms the room with convection heat. We use it on our enclosed porch and it really helps to keep the room about 20 – 25 degrees above the outdoor temperature. It was not difficult to hang on the wall (even with siding).

Failed to create any real warmth the area at all. Returned it.
Failed to really create any warmth in the room I set it up in… even after running for 24 hours, there was no discernible change in room temperature.
