MOTHBALLZ –
one of a kind
This is literally the only deadbolt lock on the market with an integrated keypad that has A SMALL BACK PLATE FOOTPRINT. This makes it the only product in existence that will look decent on a security door. On every other model, the back plate is visible through the screen. I’m so happy they designed this lock with a small battery pack and short interior plate so you dont have to see the ugly internal component from outside the door. The lock is well packaged and it feels weighty and luxurious in the hand – like an apple product. However the available finishes aren’t quite as luxurious. It just looks like a hunk of black plastic. I wish antique or patinaed metal finishes were available to match trends in door hardware (unlaquered or antique brass or at least oil rubbed bronze). If the company ever offered a trade in for a new front plate in better finishes I would gladly buy the new part. Another aesthetic issue is that it’s centered top to bottom rather than being centered on the circular part. That leaves it looking slightly too low on the door. My door has a molded protrusion where the lock should be set and this lock cannot be aligned with that. So all these cosmetic issues really cheapen an otherwise luxurious product sold at a pretty premium price point. But it still gets 5 stars because it’s the only option and I’m just thankful it exists at all.

Puse una en la puerta principal de mi casa dónde tiene muchísimo tráfico y las baterías duran de 15 a 20 días, para mí está bien. Está cerradura es de muy buen material, es facil de instalar. El único detalle es que deben trabajar más en su aplicación móvil porque aunque esté conectada a internet suele dar error en ciertas cosas.

Very cool and useful device !
This was very easy to install ! Instructions were easy and understandable. Nice be able to go back if needed. I like the construction very sturdy and elegant presentation. Voice feedback was unexpected and very helpful ! The only issue I was having is trying to pair with phone but other than that it’s a great device ! Hidden key slot makes it look keyless and the way the key is made wouldn’t be easy to duplicate which plants a sense of security as well !

Doesn’t work
Paid a small fortune for this lock and in addition had to buy a hub to try to work it remotely because it is hard to get code to work. The hub only works 2.4ghz which is not the normal for a typical WiFi router. I can send the hub back but the lock has already been on door so I’m out $200. Very upset!

Quit working after rain
I liked the fingerprint feature, but it never worked for my wife.To do anything you have to touch the fingerprint sensor to “wake it up.” We installed it just over a month ago with 3 of us living here, it died with no warning and believe rain killed it. Very disappointed and recommend that you don’t by this for exterior applications.

Must use finger print
the design circle lock was the main reason I bought but I just wanted a simple lock. Not one you have to wake up with finger and still have to use the check mark in the pad.
