Rocketbook Has Made An Amazing Notebook with its Core Line
Fantastic reusable notebook that works better than I had anticipated! The notebook itself is high quality, the pages are well made and the orientation of the lines, title/date areas, and organizational icons at the bottom of the page are all very well placed and thought out. The scanning/cloud uploading application works seemlessly and setup is very easy. Erasing the frixion ink is a breeze, so reusing pages is not issue at all. The only thing that I will caution users of this notebook on is that if you write very hard on to the paper, the indentation of your handwriting will remain but you can still fully erase the ink. The imprint your previous writing leaves behind is relatively faint but just be careful not to write too hard into the notebook or else I suspect that the reusability of the pages will diminish overtime.Overall, this is the perfect notebook for everyday use and it is seriously almost infinitely reusable. The materials made to use this notebook are top notch, the organizational capabilities provided by the notebook are robust, and the ease of use and reusability of the notebook is just amazing! I have no regrets at all buying this notebook, I use it everyday and I will be back for future products from Rocketbook for sure.

Great tool for work and school
I’ve really enjoyed using Rocketbook reusable notebooks and would definitely recommend them to anyone who does a lot of pen-and-paper writing or note-taking.Notebooks themselves: I take a lot of notes for work and it’s been nice to have a small reusable pad that I can wipe clean and use again, instead of wasting hundreds of sticky notes or typing endlessly on my phone (which patients would not appreciate). I’ve had the pocket size for almost two years and the pages are still all wiping clean very well, with the most-used ones showing a very slight amount of discoloration. I ended up buying the Core size for school as well, which has saved a lot of paper waste. I also like that the pages and covers are sturdy, don’t rip, and don’t get wrinkled or bent from being shoved into a pocket, purse, or locker. The paper itself is very smooth to write on, but almost too smooth – there’s no “scratch” between the pen and paper, so sometimes my handwriting ends up a bit sloppy just from the pen slipping and sliding over the page. Frixion also makes fineliner erasable marker pens with a felt tip that are much nicer to write with on this paper, and can be wiped away cleanly just like the ballpoint pens. That’s just personal preference though – I write really fast and need some friction so I don’t slip. The paper wipes clean without any visible “tattoos” of what I’ve written. If I’m pressing too hard, sometimes the gel pens leave an indentation, but the more I write over it, the less noticeable it is. Don’t expose the notebook to heat as this will erase your writing. (High heat – higher than body heat, more like a hot car or prolonged direct sunlight.)App: Initially, I bought the small pocket-sized notebook purely for its reusability feature. Then when I went back to school, I bought the larger notebook for lecture notes, and that’s when I really started using the Rocketbook App. I can’t say enough good things about this app! It’s great to have my notes uploaded, organized, and accessible from my phone at all times with barely any extra effort at all. I learned that it actually is important to specify in the upload settings whether you are writing in color or black-and-white, however – my purple marker pen did not show up at all in the black-and-white setting, but was clear as day in the color setting. Uploads are quite speedy and you can specify where you want the notes sent by checking off one of the symbols at the bottom of the page. You can set up the locations when you open the app for the first time and change them whenever you want. The front cover also has a legend so that you can write down which symbol goes to which location. Bonus points for the app not having a monthly fee like pretty much everything else these days!I took off one star for paper texture and the fact that the pen that comes with the book is kind of garbage. The ink skips and the pen dies within a few weeks. I buy other Frixion pens separately and have found that all varieties (including markers and highlighters) work with this paper as long as they’re Frixion Erasable. Just make sure to carry a Frixion pen with you wherever you go – regular pens do not wipe off this paper.
