Because not only did I buy myself this ring, but I also got one for my father because of how much I liked it.I first saw this ring on my friend and I asked him about it. So, the next day I ordered one on amazon. The main benefit is that this ring has NO SUBSCRIPTIONS! (thank you!) The last thing I need in my life are more monthly subscriptions.Its a one-time purchase of 299 and tada. All done.The second thing I like is the durability. This ring is made from titanium alloy, the same material used to build rockets (yes I’m serious). Thankfully, I’m not planning on taking my ring to outer space, but it is nice to know it will survive random bumps against the wall here and there. It is crazy light as well, 2g I believe. its not even noticeable while wearing it.The ring is also water resistant down to 100m, or 328 feet. Which is definitely enough for swimming at the beach, showering, and in the rare instance you go scuba diving.The RingConn app is great, and tells you everything you need to know – from steps to heart rate, heart rate variability, stress, sleep apnea and more.I was skeptical regarding the sleep apnea detection, but it works! I tried it out on myself and found out that I have no risk. HOWEVER, my father tried it and his results came back with ‘risk of sleep apnea’, so we got him an appointment to the doctors just to be sure. Keep in mind, we didn’t know this prior to the ring! Sleep apnea can be incredibly dangerous and could even result in strokes, heart attacks, and even death. So, an appointment to the doctors was a no-brainer. Better be safe than sorry. It’s crazy that a ring gave us the heads up… got to love tech!The battery life, as stated by RingConn says between 10-12 days and I personally found that to be accurate. This does depend on the ring size. Smaller ring = smaller battery. But in general, you should expect to get the rated battery life.charging the ring from 0-100% takes a little longer than an hour, and charging the charging case takes about an hour and a half. Something to note is that with the charging case, you should get 150 days of battery life which means you’ll only charge the case itself 2-3x per YEAR!All in all, if you want to get yourself a little health assistant, or maybe buy your elderly parents a nice present that looks after them even in the slightest, I think this ring is an easy buy. I’m actually considering to buy one for my mother as well.if anything changes, I’ll make an update in the “edit” underneath this line. Finish rubs off VERY quickly, fitness tracking WAY off – sleep tracking pretty good
So…here’s the thing. What you’ll think about this ring depends on what you bought it for.Sleep tracking? Decent. Close enough to get a good idea of what your sleep looks like.Fitness tracking? Not even close – typically 2-3k steps more recorded than on my apple watch – and I trust the watch more since it has GPSIn addition, the whole idea of a ‘smart ring’ is to wear it all the time…well…after wearing it to the gym and doing dumbbell presses, the black finish is already scratching off…kind of a big issue considering what this wearable was made to do.The app itself is pretty straight forward and the ring, when sized correctly, fits fairly comfortably. I do notice that my index finger gets irritated every few days – but it also fits my middle finger so I just switch over for a day or two.Battery life seems to be pretty decent – I’ve been able to wear the ring for a week straight with no issue.Very important: do not order your normal ring size as Ringconn has their own sizing. You need to buy a sizing guide (it’s like 2 dollars, no big deal) to check your size. As an example I am a 8.5 normally, in ringconn I’m a 12 (index finger).

Wow, I really didn’t want this “off brand” ring, but after trying the others, this is the perfect ring for me, it’s slim and thin, lightweight, it’s not bulky at all, resembles my wedding band, looks like it’s just another piece of jewelry. As far as tracking health data, it does a great job compared to my Apple Watch.. 10/10 would definitely recommend. The app itself needs a little updating, feels cheap.. but there’s no subscription to use it so definitely a plus!

Just got my Ringconn Gen 2 – setup was a breeze and am excited to start collecting data. Have to say – after reading several comments that the ring fits big, I was a bit worried about sizing but the size 8 I ordered was 100% correct according to the initial ring-sizer I chose from the kit. On top of that, this ring is, quite simply, beautiful. It’s very lightweight and almost feels undetectable on my finger. The gold is not brassy and it looks like an expensive piece of jewelry. 11/10 for fit & style! I got this specifically for the sleep apnea tracking – hoping it performs as well as it looks! Will be back with an update.

First check the best fit of ring size using the size kit.Writing this review after 45 days, Looks elegant, works excellent, Battery Remains 10 days, Perfectly syncs with the phone. Don’t feeling wearing it.App is too professional and provides loads of information on the Vitals, Sleep, Activity and Stress. Ai based plan needs a lot of improvement (still in beta), finding cumulative monthly achievements in the app is bit hard. Sometimes the info provided by app seems to be overwhelming.Sleep Apnea Tracking is good and looks suggestive. Only after couple of months it can be confirmed.Otherwise a best product that comes without any subscription and doing it’s job so well.Kudoos to Ringconn Team.
