PuroAir 240 HEPA Air Purifier-A Good Purchase
The PuroAir 240 HEPA Air Purifier for Home-Large Rooms worked very well for my space. I noticed a distinct difference in my air quality after about a week of consistent use. I have allergies to dust, and my house is normally very dusty, no matter how often I dust surfaces. Since purchasing this air purifier and changing my furnace filter regularly, I’ve seen improvement in the air quality in my home. The sound of this PuroAir 240 HEPA Air Filter is noticeable when it’s on, and it gets a little louder when bad air quality is detected (ex. smoking and burning smells when cooking). The sound isn’t too loud, and the noise level is tolerable. There is a sleep mode that operates quietly if you’d like to use it in a bedroom. It’s easy to change the air filters, it’s an attractive unit, and its size makes it easy to place it in many places comfortably in your home. I’m pleased with this air purifier, as it has helped me with my allergies!

Nice, quiet, automatic, start and forget until filter light start flashing, chance and good to go again… (i have one older) Filters. PuroAir sticker make filters cost lot, same filters without it is under half of price… Clean air nicely. automatic chance fan speed when need… Basically really start and forget machine in good way.

I am so impressed how fast the sensors work and this machine automatically turns up the filtration fan to clean the air and return the light back to Green from Yellow or red. I really think this will save me money on the preventive annual maintenance to our home central heating coils and drum from infiltrates. The smells from cooking or smoking are filtrated quickly. The whole unit is easy to set-up and the filter is impressive. We are very happy with this purchase and recommend it without reservation.

PUROAIR 400 air purifierI bought the PUROAIR air purifier bundle, 1 400 model cleans 2000sq feet in 1 hour and 2 model 240’s that clean 1000 sq feet in 1 hour.My home is 3 stories counting half finished basement, we live in the country, burn wood, have 2 dogs, farm fields dust and road dust.I needed something to help with dust, allergens, pet dander and anything else floating around I cannot see.This 400 model cleans 99.9% of the air of any of those pollutants.So far, my house smells cleaner, dog odor is gone, dust is way less and within 1 hour my daughter commented the air smells cleaner and fresher.So I am sold, cannot wait to see the difference in the winter with the house all closed up with wood furnace running!!Great product and I wanted one for a while now, I noticed the difference at my daughter’s house who is using these.Noise level is less than a box fan, actually pretty quiet on 1st and 2nd fan setting, weight is 14.73lbs for the bigger 400 model. It has a timer, child lock, an automatic setting and an indicator how bad or good your air is as it runs. Make sure you remove the tape to open filter door and plastic off filter before use.Now my only complaint, the area/fins to suck in the bad house air is on the back and you have to set it out and away from walls/items. I turned mine backwards so it has plenty of room to suck in the air. Good cleaned air comes out the top. Now…. I know the designer wanted a pretty, sharp, clean designed front for cosmetic home look…. But I would rather have it more functional and easier to place in my home and work great. Rather than be pretty and hard to locate an ideal working space. My only complaint! Yeah, I know a Woman seldomly only has 1 complaint… wink!The 240 models suction air around the unit and are smaller, lighter and quiet.

Better air quality
These units are very quiet and I love that it has a timer so you can’t set it for 2, 4, 6 & 8 hrs. They also look good and are not too big. My allergies are much better. I put one upstairs and downstairs.

I have it in a very small bedroom but I do have three large dogs, a German Shepherd, a doodle and a golden retriever and within 2 weeks you could tell the filter is full of dirt. Not sure if it’d be effective in my living room given that in my bedroom it’s filled up the filter so quickly.

The product is lightweight cheap plastic. The company ship to the UK yet the device requires a voltage step-down unit to cope with the 110V rated USA device. Company either dumb or dishonest. Factor in additional £50-100 for device to step down UK 240V. So far not seen source for replacement HEPA filters on Amazon either.
