Seems great! I watched a few Youtube videos about moisture meters and this one tested extremely accurate despite its low cost. It is easy to operate and change settings and seems accurate to me. Feels like a good purchase!

Needs better instructions on how to measure.
Generally works. I’m a first time user of moisture meters. It was easy to set up and use, but my confidence level isn’t high because it seems to have a lot of variability. I wish there had been more information on where on the wood to use it and where the best reliability to measure is. For example, I get a different reading on a smooth surface versus a rough surface versus an end cut surface. I think the more I get used to it, the more confidence I’ll get. We’ll see.

Good Meter!
This is my first moisture meter and I don’t have any other meter to compare it to, but it seems to work great. It measures instantly and seems to be accurate. I ordered a batch of kiln dried hardwood from a supplier and when it arrived I measured every piece and all of it was within +/- 0.5%.

No BS. Straight to the numbers. I like interface with material types, nothing extra. I use it for firewood moisture measurements. Tested on freshly cut oak – expected 40% hardwood moisture.Tested then on 2 year seasoned elm and oak – 10-12% hardwood moisture.

Like that it came in with a battery and a small protective pouch.I tried it on various pine furniture in the house that was acclimatised, and they all read very close to each other in moisture (about 2% variation, 11-13%), so the reading for softwoods seems quite reasonable). Walls were checked in a few rooms with the drywall setting and also very similar, so consistency seems quite reasonable.
