Good build quality. Strong magnet. Tested with some casual video shooting on iPhone 17 pro, it works fine. But didn’t have chances to test the most demanding video formats shooting yet.

The transmission speed is not as fast as described in the speck. The speed reached only 800 mbs. Never reached 2000mbs as they said. More cheaper option out there.I’d recommend not buy this product

Voilà un excellent investissement! Tout y est, solidité, simplicité, fiabilité, qualité, efficacité… Le rapport qualité-prix est plus qu’excellent; sincèrement il n’y a presque rien à redire. Mais si je devais trouver quelques choses, mais là c’est vraiment pour trouver quelque chose à “redire”, cela porterait sur la taille du câble Gigabit. Il demanderait à être légèrement plus long, mais cela reste totalement anecdotique car que cela soit pour l’iPhone (la taille du câble est parfaite) pour un Mac (ou n’importe quel PC) c’est idéal. Même si suivant l’emplacement des slots USB-C (de l’ordi portable), le câble peut être un peu trop court si l’on veut mettre ce petit SSD derrière l’écran avec l’anneau magnétique fourni par exemple.Pour ce qui est du SSD en lui-même, sincèrement c’est bluffant. Déjà la légèreté! Quand vous prenez la boîte en main, on se demande vraiment s’il y a bien quelques choses à l’intérieur tellement ce petit SSD est léger. Le boîtier en aluminium est un choix parfait et fait double emploi. Et oui, l’aluminium contribue au refroidissement du SSD lors des transferts (écriture surtout) mais il permet également de le rendre plus robuste (chute, frottement ect). Les performances de transferts sont telles que décrites dans le détail du produit. Les débits sont énormes et permettent la copie de gros fichiers sans sourciller un seul instant. Une chose est certaine, j’en achèterai d’autres sans hésitation.Si vous cherchez un moyen simple et pas trop cher pour faire des vidéos au format ProRaw avec votre iPhone de 128 Go ou 512 Go par exemple, ou même d’éviter de saturer trop vite votre iPhone 1 To, ce petit SSD magnétique est une excellente alternative. Idem si vous avez l’habitude de manipuler de gros fichiers audio, vidéo, photos ou autres, ce SSD vous permettra de manipuler vos gros fichiers à une vitesse réellement confortable. Vraiment là il n’y a pas d’hésitation à avoir. Bravo et merci à ORICO.
