This desk converter is GREAT
This adjustable desk converter stand is simple, effective and it works great. I have the 32″x22″ stand with no whistles or bells … just a simple, one-level solid desk top without varying levels for a keyboard. I’m able to easily have a 27 inch monitor, keyboard and mouse on the desk top with 12 inches of space in the front to lay papers on and lean on when using the keyboard or working on papers. Very sturdy … little to no vibration or wobble of my monitor when typing on the keyboard. The up/down mechanism works easily and the the stand is very heavy duty … I am 6′ tall and 190# and can easily lean on the stand … it easily holds the weight. I use it mostly n the upright position (back pain issues) and for extra comfort I stand on a cushioned mat have a small step stool I can put my foot on to adjust my standing position when needed … works great. Sitting down to use it is very comfortable … only about 2 inches height on the desktop when lowered. I’m retired and use this at home, but if I worked in an office I would purchase this same stand without hesitation.

Does job well.
Excellent product at a very reasonable price. Seems well constructed. Easy to use – able to raise and depress with ease. No assemby needed. It fits well on a standard desk. As others have noted, it is heavy. This may be good since it probably reflects its solid construction; if not strong, however, one may need helpgetting it in place.

Works Well!!
EZ to move up and down. Sturdy. Holds its place/height well. Know these kinds of devices add about 4 or 5 inches of computer height at lowest point from the table. No problem for me but good to know.

So Simple & Sturdy
This arrived today and I popped it out of the box. It’s heavy but not overly so. Just put it on top ofy desk and use the lever on the left to raise and lower it. You can set it to any height in its range that works for you.Sometimes products really work outand this is one of those for me. Perfect in all respects and includes rubberized base so as not to scratch surface it sits on.I am a casual user and no longer in the workforce, but I spend time at my PC daily and this gets me up and out of my chair! You just can’t beat the price for the functionality and support this offers.

Watch the wobble
This is a decent desk. First the plusses. It looks good. The tabletop itself is thin so when you use it in unraised position, it increase the desk height by less than 1.5 inches. It looks great. Now for the minuses: it wobbles when you type in it, or to be precise, when you type on it, the monitor on its stand wobbles a bit and this makes it hard, at least for me, to type and was so annoying I almost sent it back. In addition, raising and lowering the desk is not that easy, and if you are older or weaker, it might be a little challenging. In the end I did not send this back. I was able to do two things to basically eliminate the wobble entirely. If your desk is against a wall, you can push the entire unit so the back of the desk stop is pushed hard against the wall. This effectively stops about 97% of the wobble. Then I cut two pieces of wood, measured to the height of the desk raised, and put one piece on the left side of the raised desk and one on the right side. After this there was virtually no wobble or movement, even with vigorous typing. As I gathered from a number of websites, table wobble is the main issue with convertible and even full model standing desks, and they need either sufficient weight and cross bracing to prevent the wobble. OTherwise typing is a little bit like reading on a boat and unsatisfactory for more than a few minutes. But the fixes outlined above worked for me and I like the look of the desk–its’ very clean and modern and it blends in well with the desk itself. If you are at a desk that is NOT against a wall, I wouldn’t keep this desk. It would be virtually impossible to stablize with just wooden posts, even if you used four of them–I tried this and there was still too much wobble to make continued typing/reading possible.

Great quality
I didn’t have high expectations for this thing, but the quality is really impressive for the price. It’s very solid, and very easy to set up and use. Love it.Edit. One small complaint: the surface is a little rough, or pebbled. It’s fine for using a mouse, and I’d never even notice it except when trying to write on a single sheet of paper – it’s better to use a notepad than a single sheet.

Works great!
I leave reviews when something is great or awful. This desk is great. Extremely well made (and well packaged). I placed it on my dining room table and raised it to maximum height. Put my laptop on it. I use a wireless mouse with my laptop. It sits on the right, and papers I need to look at sit on the left. In other words, the table is wide enough for me. It is easy to raise up; but note that the first few times you lower it, you basically have to force it. The instructions make that fact clear. I highly recommend. I’d buy again. P.S. The back pain I was having is gone. Stand up is the way to go.

Possibly the greatest item ever to sell on Amazon.
This is possibly the greatest item ever to sell on Amazon. Part of me wonders if Jeff Bezos created Amazon just to be able to sell this exact standing desk converter someday. Well done Jeff. You did it. This thing comes assembled. It’s absolutely perfect. NOTE: It is heavy – but that’s what a sturdy horse of a standing desk like this is going weigh. Honestly, I’m surprised by the weight of this thing that it isn’t made out of gold. Probably couldn’t keep the $165.00 price point if they went that route… Regardless, if you’re looking for a standing desk – stop. Buy this one. Just knowing you ordered it will make your life better before it even arrives.

Got it on a warehouse deal, so saving at least $300 compared to a motorized desk. Can put those savings towards a chair or monitor.Smoothly moves up and down, and adequate for my height (5’11”). Sturdy. Mouse moves well on it.It’s heavy, but not so much that one person couldn’t install or move it.100% assembled out of the box, nice.Top material is fibreglass(?) so it gets foggy from your hand quickly. But the finish is nice.I’ve seen other reviewers comment about it leaking oil. If I notice it on mine, I will revise this review.

This does the job well. It is sturdy and stiff, and big enough for my monitor, keyboard and mouse, with room to spare. I like how it’s spring-loaded, so it’s easy to raise and lower. The only con is that you can’t lock it just a few inches from the bottom (the spring-loading overpowers the latch mechanism), so I have to put a coffee mug under the table to make it stay at that height. But that’s a small thing, not worth deducting a star.

exactly what I was looking for to place over my desk, good size to use with 2 monitors, space for my keyboard , mouse, pen tokens, etc.The price is just what I was looking for instead of those $400+ stations.
