Solid, No-Frills Webcam with a Must-Have Privacy Shutter
I picked up this webcam for my clients desktop setup (over 20 units), and it’s a great basic option. It’s super easy to plug and play—no complicated setup needed. The privacy shutter is a standout feature; honestly, it should be standard on all webcams these days. Audio pickup is decent, though I still recommend using headphones for better sound quality. It mounts securely on top of the monitor and stays put unless adjusting the shutter, which can nudge it a bit. For the price, it’s a cost-effective choice if you just need something simple and reliable.

Great for the home office
Super easy to use, love the built in camera cover. Only thing that I wasn’t super enthused with, was the way it sits on the monitor, not super secure and makes adjusting it a tiny bit of a pain. Other than that, great quality.

This webcam works just fine! So far I have only used it to play the game “Before Your Eyes” and some other gaming but it is easy to set up and it just works! Great price too!

Greatest bang for your buck
For the price, this little guy shocked me. It’s not some insane quality and the low light performance leaves a lot to be desired but if you just want a webcam for your face or something this works. I originally bought one to monitor my 3D printer remotely but liked the quality enough that I bought a second for my computer.

Despite a bright room, picture quality is very poor
When I received the camera and plugged it in initially, the quality was immaculate. The picture was bright, and the camera seemed to be in working order. I placed my hand to the camera, real close but not touching, the picture quality darkened and I have not been able to recover the quality from when I initially plugged it in.With a 75″x 89″ window, my living room is very, very bright, however, the picture quality is very poor. I will do better research next time and see a webcam with auto-focus and auto-brightness features.This is unfortunate because the quality out of the box was more than ideal.Update: The camera is no longer reliable. Either it will shut off while plugged in, or when you unplug and replug, it does not turn on. I am so dissatisfied! Never again will I purchase webcams from Lenovo.

The Lenovo 1080p Webcam with Privacy Cover is a solid choice for clear video calls, offering sharp image quality and decent low-light performance. The built-in privacy cover is a great touch for security. It’s easy to set up and works well for work or streaming, though the mic could be better. Overall, a great value for the price!

SUPER PRODUCT AT A SUPER PRICE
When Logitech failed to come out with a Win 11 driver for my high-end Logitech Webcam Pro I felt abandoned by them. Luckily at the same time I was still fuming over them basically abandoning their customers, I own multiple Logitech wired and wireless trackball products for many years, I received an email from Tom’s Hardware recommending this Lenovo unit. At 66% less than anything around it with _equivalent_ specs and quality, I jumped on it here on Amazon and I am TOTALLY PLEASED.A bonus is that is also have a sliding panel on the face of it that covers the camera lens. The sound, video quality, and software are all first class. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
