    Works with Smartthings
I don’t think I found my answer in any of the reviews so I took a chance and I can confirm that the Zigbee outlet option does work with the Smartthings hub. Easy to install, easy to pair. Zigbee outlets are scarce since Jasco discontinued theirs. Hopefully this helps if anyone else is searching.

Very unstable system, we deeply regret this purchase
We spent thousands of dollars outfitting our entire home with the Legrand Netatmo Smart Home system, expecting a reliable setup to control our lights from our phones and other smart-home platforms. We also assumed that a brand under Legrand would perform at the level of other well-known U.S. smart-home brands, but that hasn’t been the case at all. The hub constantly goes offline, the system is difficult to program, and most of the time we can’t control anything because it’s simply disconnected. It has never delivered the basic functionality we bought it for. We’re extremely disappointed and truly regret choosing this system.

Pricey but easy to use and set up
I installed legrand WiFi switches through my house, it was a process and expensive but easy to use and set up. Looks great and all function great on multiple app platforms. Once set up in the legrand control app I was able to link with Apple HomeKit and Alexa.

    Works like a charm!!!
Pros:-Easy setup! Launch H+C app, hold Gateway EZ button till green, hold smart switch EZ button till green, follow the app instructions.-Bought 4 more and setup went flawlessly.Cons:-Gateway EZ button needed each smart switch setup. If Gateway stock cover is installed, removing it is challenging.-Complex when integrating Apple Home app-Long range and wall penetrating 2.4 GHz band needed for gateway

Best looking Zigbee switch with great performance
I’m an early smart home adopter and I got the 1st gen of Legrand nickel wifi switches. The 1st gen was fun, the 2nd gen (still wifi) was more stable, but still buggy. Now, we’re at the 3rd gen with Zigbee and this is really what I wanted all along. No, it’s not perfect, but damn it’s nice to have this great of an option in 2023. I took a star off because the gateway does make a high pitched noise if you’re near it (I put it in a far away hallways, so I don’t hear anything) and the initial setup process before the most recent firmware update was convoluted. Like, why the hell does it want me to do an “electrical contract”?I have the smart gateway because it came with the starter package, but I’ve read reviews on Reddit saying these switches work like any other Zigbee switch when connected to an independent Zigbee gateway. I have these switches in Home Assistant (using the Legrand/Netatmo integration) and Google Home and the response from these is faster than the Legrand wifi switches. The setup is also way better…but still not perfect.I have no idea what that other reviewer was screaming about not getting these into Home Assistant. Also, these are luxury, higher end light switches – you’re going to pay more for them. These are built primarily to look good and have reasonable smart home functionality. They are *not* a DIYers smart home dream. There are plenty of those products on the market and expecting these to fit that bill is naive. If you want that functionality, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for a beautiful switch that also has most of the smart home functions a normal family would use, get these.

Not happy with this at all…
Item did not come with a QR code to use Apple Homekit. I cannot set the switch up with the Control app. I’m using a 2.4gh connection. it just sucks. Not like the one I bought in 2020. The QR code for homekit still works on that switch, but unfortunately it went bad and its no longer sold/available.

    Annoying “Hum”!!!
This was designed well. You can make it so the gateway goes in any outlet or with any configuration. The setup was fine. The fact that you don’t need a two-gang for the gateway/switch or gateway/outlet combo is great. It sits flush against the wall. You’d never know it’s not a two gang box, but the humming is just too annoying. I am going to see if it changes by moving the gateway to where the outlet is behind the bed. Also, good to know that only one of the two outlets is controlled. The other is always on.
