Amazingsly perfect unit for our 3 cat hardwood floor family! Litter and random cat toys NO PROBLEM!
Bought this and must be my luck but it had an error when mopping. Eufy replied within a day and sent me an entirely new unit to swap out and it’s worked flawlessly! This vac is the perfect one if you have pets, we have 3 cats and cat toys are always in random places. Past robot vacs we bought would always have toys stuck in them. This one actually sees anything and goes right around it without problems. The mopping on our hardwood floors is 100% clean. The best feature is setting up multiple schedules during the day to do only certain rooms (our cat litter box room multiple times a day) and then a couple full mop schedules so we wake up to a clean floor and go to sleep with a clean floor. Overall I really would like to buy another one for upstairs (even though you can just bring the robot up and it will track multiple floors). Also, most vac/mops I have tried are always a pain to clean. Not this one. The dirty tank and water refill just pull up from the top of the base unit and easily rinse out and refill. The robot also has a magnetic top that pops right off and a simple slide off the back dirty tank (to wash the filter inside, if needed). As a bonus surpise, I tested it on one of our cats vomit on hardwood floor and it worked perfectly and didnt smear, or spread it anywhere else!

My little OCD cleaner – 2020 One Year UPDATE
One year update:I bought my 2 Eufys Aug. 2019 and use them once a week or every two weeks and have come across some quirks. The most recent quirk is Eufy just stopping in the middle of a room with the blue light still on and no error beeps. Apparently, it stops for no reason. I hit the remote start and it continues its job. Another quirk is stopping and beeping with blinking light for some reason (keep your manual handy) and once was because of the front Pivot wheel not moving because of hair being wound around it. I popped the wheel off, cleaned out the hair, reset Eufy by pushing the reset button on the bottom and it then worked fine. Another quirk was getting to the stairs and for some reason couldn’t turn around and started beeping. That time I just wiped the three sensors on the bottom and reset it and it was fine after that. One day, it just continually stopped for no reason that I could find. It just stops, no beeping and still fully charged. I just kept resetting it with the bottom reset button until it finally finished the room. That happened about 10 times that day.Over the winter, I had a stray cat decide she wanted to live with me, so now I have a cat with long hair and she sheds a lot. Eufy doesn’t pick up large tufts of her hair from my rugs, so I use a hair mit on the worst spots on my rugs and then Eufy does a fine job on the rugs.Another tip, try using your magnet strips to divide up larger rooms. I ended up having to do that in my living room because otherwise it took forever for Eufy to hit every area. Now I divide it in half. When one half looks complete, I pick up Eufy and put it in the other half. That works well! Also, your magnet strips can be stuck to the side of your refrigerator for storage! I find that very handy. :)You really do need to clean Eufy between charges. I have my system broken down into Living room and kitchen. Clean and charge (about 4.5 hours), then the hallway, bathroom, bedroom. Clean it and charge. Then lastly, my office/sewing room. Clean it and charge. It takes only 5- 10 minutes to clean it between uses.I’m still thrilled I have these Eufys and have decided I will never be without a Robo Vac – ever. And hopefully Eufy will still be around when I need a replacement. I bought these partly because of the Anker name. I’ve bought other Anker products for years and they’re always made well.End of update.I bought two of these yesterday with the Deal of the day and received them today. They both took about 3 hours to fully charge and then it was off to the races. One went downstairs and the other one upstairs. I left the Eufy downstairs in the basement to do its thing on low pile carpet and tile and went down to check on it periodically. Twice I found it stuck in strange places. One was on top of a small table base and the other was lodged next to my furnace. I’ll just have to block those two areas next time. The one upstairs was in my kitchen for a good 45 minutes to an hour! OCD I’d say, but my kitchen is nice and clean. 🙂 Rugs included. These do an excellent job with edge cleaning. The one in the kitchen miraculously followed the curves in the pedestal base on the table. Pretty cool. It also traveled over all my wood floor vent covers which is pretty impressive because they’re pretty thick! It also fits under most of my furniture. I sent a Roomba back years ago because it wouldn’t fit under my sofa, loveseat and tables. That made it useless for me. These fit under everything except a lowboy chest and 3 smaller tables in my living room…Swiffer will take care of those. The drop sensors worked perfectly at the stairs. It turned around instead of going down. The upstairs Eufy finished my kitchen, living room, entryway and was in the bathroom when the red light came on and is now charging. Both Eufys ran for the 100 minutes as stated in the manual.I emptied the upstairs bin twice, but only because I had stopped the Eufy to get it out of the kitchen and before I sent it to charge. The bin wasn’t full either time, but had plenty of dirt and fuzz in it, so I’m happy with that!I decided I’m not programming a schedule because I don’t need my house cleaned daily. It’s just me here and no pets anymore, so I will manually turn them on once or twice a week.I did pick EVERYTHING up off my floors for this first cleaning, but that’s just not ever going to happen again. It was a PIA and I could have vacuumed my entire house in the time it took to clear the floors. I’ll leave the cords zip tied, but everything else is staying put next time. All that work defeats the purpose of having these.I am THRILLED TO DEATH with these though. Vacuuming is one of my least favorite chores. These will definitely be used weekly and I look forward to watching them work instead of me! Also, these are sooooo quiet. You can’t even hear where they are in the same room as you if they’re cleaning underneath something.I’m so glad I bought them and at an excellent price. The exorbitantly expensive robo vacs are just not feasible for me. Maybe if they had a 20 year life span, they would be, but they don’t. I’m also not into controlling everything through a stupid app or WiFi. Don’t need those and don’t want those. I don’t need NHS knowing when I’m vacuuming my house. These were worth every cent, IMO Great little vacs!

Not good with heavy dog shedding
Let me start out by saying that I am a huge Eufy fan. We have purchased five RoboVacs over the last five years, six if you count the one I gave my sister-in-law.We live on rural acreage with six people and two hairy as heck indoor/outdoor dogs in the house. The Eufys, I’m sure, are not designed for the kind of mess that gets tracked indoors here, but they handle it like champions! I’m so satisfied with Eufy, I don’t even look at other brands when I need another one. All are still up & running just fine, with our first battery replacement in our very first RoboVac 11 having happened this month. That said, I do have an issue with the most recent Eufy we purchased this month – the RoboVac 30.In the accompanying photos, you will see our 11 S on the left and the 30 on the right. Although the 30 seems to be a great model overall, it doesn’t handle heavy dog hair well. The opening into the 30’s debris tray is smaller than the other RoboVac models we have. You can see in the photos, the hair deposited in the debris tray was severely limited by the small opening. The hair clogged into the shape of the opening and the tray was only partially filled at the end of the battery charge.Further details: We run these two RoboVacs almost daily in the main living area (entry / living room / kitchen / dining areas all connected). The flooring terrain is wood and vinyl only (no carpets). Both RoboVacs pictured were running simultaneously throughout these areas. The hair is out of control right now because our one large dog (Anatolian, a livestock guardian) is blowing her winter coat (#justkillmenow). Normal amounts of dog hair might not be an issue for the 30? However, our 11 and 11 S models handle the normal AND ridiculous amounts of hair just fine. Unlike the 11 and 11 S, the 30 is choking under the added pressure of the extra hair. The debris you see in the photos was ALL collected in one run (both RoboVacs are fairly new and still have full battery cycles). Prior to the vacuum run pictured, both RoboVacs were set down to run with completely clean, empty trays, completely clean roller brushes, and clean filters. You can see why two machines are needed almost daily. Every time the RoboVacs finish a run, I clean the roller & spinning brushes and wash the tray and filters with soap and water. Every second or third time I also wash the roller & spinning brushes with soap & water.Additionally, we have one RoboVac 30G model. I used to run the 11 S and the 30 G models simultaneously in the main living areas. The 30 G is less effective (maybe 15-20 %?) at collecting hair, sand, etc… than the 11 S, in my experience. I bought the 30 to replace the 30 G. Unfortunately, the 30 was wayyyyyyy worse than the 30 G.If I had to do it over again, I would buy only the 11 S model. If I could return the 30 and 30 G models for 11 S models, I’d do it in a heartbeat. As it is, I’ll go back to running the 11 S and 30 G models together – – at least while the one dog is blowing her coat. When she’s no longer shedding, I’ll probably give the 30 another shot in the main living area. My hunch is that – absent the clogging amounts of hair on the floor – the 30 is superior to the 30 G. Based on my experience with the 30 G, I’m going to avoid models that only have one spinning brush and set vacuuming patterns.I can’t imagine many people put their RoboVacs to the workload that we do out here in the country. I would also imagine any of these models would be terrific for a normal household. Even though I’ve been complaining, I rave about all the RoboVacs we have. I love them and would be losing my mind without them. They are – all of them – fabulous little machines for the price. But… if you live with an insane amount of animal hair, the 11 S is a better choice.

Ok, this thing is AMAZING. Seriously. My hubby and I have a 750 sq/ft condo, all laminate hardwood (except for a tiled bathroom), and we pride ourselves on a clean home. We vacuum daily with our Dyson, and thoroughly clean our home weekly.I’m having back surgery soon, so I thought it would be a good idea to get this little Eufy to help keep our home in top shape. It arrived yesterday, and it was easy peasy to set up, and charged itself rather efficiently. My hubby had already vacuumed our condo in the morning, so I wasn’t expecting the Eufy to pick up much in its first run around the house. (Like I said, we pride ourselves on our clean home.) Anyways…low and behold, when I opened up the Eufy’s dirt receptacle, my mind was officially blown. It was already half full of dirt/dust/etc that the little Eufy had picked up on what we had thought was an already ‘clean’ floor! What?!?! This is amazing!!! So amazing, in fact, that I took a picture to show you all.Other awesome things are that it’s super quiet, bumps into things gently (rather than ramming into them), and the magnetic boundary strips work like a charm. We put them around our puppy’s pee pad – I’ve heard horror stories of poop being dragged around by robot vacuums, lol, so the magnetic boundary strips are brilliant!Totally recommend this. We are so, SO impressed!

Works well in my condo with mostly hardwood flooring. Love that it is small enough to go under the sofa, shelves, bed and dining table beween the chairs. Suction power is good enough for light debris, dust and hair. It doesn’t do too well along the carpet edge. Picks up a lot of dust despite cleaning 3 times a week! I’ll have to clean the filter every week or two and that is easy enough to do within a couple of minutes. Comes with a small brush that is handy when cleaning the filter. The app is useful and realy convenient to be able to schedule the cleaning any day and time of the week. Easily pairs with Alexa. Also like the BoostIQ mode which automatically switches to higher sunction when on carpets. I have a smaller condo and it runs silently enough that I can notice it when its working. No need to increase the TV volume. IMO the navigation system is important as it cleans in a systematic way ensuring every corner is covered and doesn’t just run around randomly. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and at a good price compared to others like the Roomba.

WHAT. I run my other robot mop DAILY. Sometimes more than that in a day. I still have the water from it cleaning yesterday (image 1) I ran the eufy for the first time today and this is the water?! (Image 2) what has my mop been doing? It is just as expensive as a mop but uses the spinning mop pads. I did not expect the roller pressure and cleaning the roller as it goes to make this drastic of a difference. I will see how maintaining it is and will update when I know.OTHER MOP (my last one)Shreds its own mop pads when it cleans them in the base stationHas ran over pet poop more times than I can count despite that was their #1 selling point at the timeIt uses the entire container of water with one cleanI will update if there’s any similar complaints will this S1 pro!OCT 30Well it’s been only a few days since we got it and my dog really has it out for this thing. Unfortunately if your lights are off. Its poop recognition isn’t great understandably. It was surprisingly a lot easier to clean after the disaster than I expected and have experienced with other robots. I think either the vacuum or the mop handled the majority. Yikes. But there wasn’t really any traces besides in the wheels which are unfortunately just as hard to clean as others. It is way better at avoiding hitting things than our previous ones, and some how way better at picking up debris with the vacuum than our previous one with lower suction. It’s went over crazy amounts of crumbs and had no problem. It is EXTREMELY nice that when clean water is poured in the part it pours its dirty water, that the pump turns on. Meaning I can clean out the lines with water very easily. The parts on this vacuum come apart to clean so well that I feel I can actually properly clean it. Not like there’s Internal parts that I can’t access that will build up dirt over time. The only thing you can’t access is the clean water tank which should never get dirty anywaysI will continue to update as I learn moreNov 1This thing is still picking up dirt off our floor. We have not reached clear water like we have with my old robot yet
