Lasted one day
It worked for a day and then would not boot. It appears to be a hard drive issue, but I’m unable to find a way to contact the seller regarding the problem. Dell refuses to accept responsibility because their records show that it shipped with Windows 11 Home, not Windows Pro. Seller requests a look at the problem, but does not provide an email or phone number.I will revisit the rating if it becomes necessary.EDITED:Well, it looks like Amazon’s free return is not what one would expect. I ordered a Dell laptop for 1382.84 which worked for one day and then would not boot up Windows. I worked with Dell support for two days. After all of the testing, they asked that I send the unit back to them for repair. The problem was I ordered a laptop with Windows 11 Pro, but Dell said they shipped that unit with Windows 11 Home, so they would not load it with the Pro version.I asked for a return to Amazon for a defective unit and was told on a chat with Amazon’s agent that they would refund the full amount when the item was received.I get an email from Amazon today that says they will only refund 1256.84 not the 1382.that I paid. This is the first time that I have had a problem with Amazon. I suggest that you read the fine print very closely about Amazon’s free return. I received a defective unit and it cost me 126.00 to return it.

Despite the description saying the laptop has a touchscreen it does not include a touchscreen. Otherwise, it is a good choice as a basic laptop.

Getting ready for Back to School
I needed a new laptop for my freshman year of college. So far this is the best one that has all the features that I need for my 4 years of college. It is built very well and has excellent battery life for my on the go schedule. I am not tied down to finding a charger when I want to get some work done.
