There are two kinds of USB-C cables, USB-C charging cable and USB-C video cable (the original one). Your own cable may be only a charging cable.

Great travel monitor!
Perfect for someone needing an extra screen on the go! It was easy to set up, it turned right on after plugging it into my laptop (there is no power unless it’s plugged in, I didn’t realize this when purchasing, which is fine, but just making others aware).The monitor has a nice, crisp image. I would say the price for the product is very reasonable and worth it.Comes with all of the plug options that fit my laptop so no extra adapters were necessary.I just wish I had bought it sooner!

Total game changer!
I need to have my multiple screens — including when I travel. This is a game changer. Setup could not be easier, it’s so handy that the connecting cable also powers the monitor, and the picture is fantastic. Great quality portable monitor for an affordable price!
I work remotely and have an awesome dual-monitor set up at home. Sometimes I have to travel and needed an affordably priced external monitor so I can continue to work with dual monitors on the go. After researching options, I found this monitor was the right size; 15.6 inches (a little larger than my laptop screen) and had all the needed cables and a protective cover. While the reviews were mainly good, I was concerned with a few that mentioned they had trouble with set-up issues or the screen going black or flickering. But I decided to order it anyway and give it a try. I’m glad I did! Everything listed in the description was included in the box. It also addressed issues that people mentioned they had trouble with and to contact them directly for assistance if they couldn’t resolve them. I appreciated the clear instructions for technical support, complete with email address and phone number contact details. Fortunately, the set up was great! I plugged in the USB-C to USB-C connection cable, hit the power button and a few seconds later the monitor turned on. The display is vibrant and matches the quality of my Dell laptop screen. So far, I’m very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable travel monitor.

Works Exactly as Advertised — Perfect Portable Monitor
I’ve been really impressed with this 15.6” Cocopar monitor. It does exactly what it promises: plug in a single USB-C cable and you’re up and running with extra screen real estate. As a writer, it’s been fantastic to have Final Draft open on one screen and the internet on the other for research — makes my workflow so much smoother.The carrying case/stand was a little confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it’s actually clever and pretty sturdy. The monitor fits perfectly next to my 14” MacBook Pro in my bag, making it super portable without adding much bulk.Overall, it’s reliable, lightweight, and extremely convenient for travel or just working away from my desk. No real complaints — just solid performance. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a straightforward, portable second screen.

Nice monitor, but not actually VESA compatible.
The monitor itself works pretty well. I’m happy with it, but it’s extremely misleading to state that the mounting holes are VESA compatible. The spacing of the holes falls under “VESA” measurements, but the monitor only has 2 holes in the back. All VESA compatible mounts I’ve found use 4 holes. I cannot find one with only 2 holes. Also, on the back of the monitor (15.6″), the back is not flat, so there’s a gap between the mount and the back of the monitor. I don’t know if it matters, but I purchased the monitor in April 2023.

Great Purchase – Just what I needed
I’m working on some documents and was doing them on a split screen which was horrendous. I ordered this and am so happy I did. The size of the screen is great and set up took all of one minute. Resolution is good. I’m very pleased. I will be taking it with me when we head south for the winter. It’s thin and sleek and the cover keeps it in an upright position. This will be very transportable. I highly recommend this if you’re looking to extend your desktop or laptop!

As I am still mostly working from home, and I have an existing stand monitor, the primary purpose of getting this portable monitor is to provide additional screen real estate for days where I have to go to the office or cafe with my laptop. Otherwise, it will act as my third screen when wfh. Hence my main criteria are1. compatibility to both my PC and Macbook2. ease of travel, max of one power supply for BOTH my computer and monitorI’ll start with the good stuff first:- delivery was fast, shipped from US to SG within 7 days- great packaging, the box came a little dented but everything else is in perfect condition. the monitor feels well-built and of premium quality- at 650g, it weighs lighter than my laptop which is great for portability. very slim- at 15.6 inches, the screen real estate definitely values add. the image quality is crisp- the magnetic sleeve acts as both protective cover and stand. Does not feel flimsy at all. it is detachable as well- no need to download a software driver, which is great for work laptops. connection to various devices is quite fast. idiot-proof to set up, and the screen is very responsive as well- as my laptop is already hooked up to my stand monitor- the user manual is very clear in instructions, but cos setting up of the monitor is quite intuitive there is not much need to refer to it. NOTE: the user manual is a bit hidden i only found it when it somehow fell out of the box.- brightness is adjustable, i work by the window with natural sunlight and the contents show up well on screenA few unexpected minor drawbacks, but I’m not too fussed about these:- once connected to my laptop, the audio automatically switch to play on the monitor (where volume is significantly softer)- the free screen protector sticker is a nice touch but super challenging to paste without air bubbles. I just live with the transparent bumpsThings to know before you buy:- no built-in battery means that when connected to handheld devices (ie phones/Nintendo switch) would need another cable to power supply- it is not touch screen, which is fine as that is not my main criteria, so when connected to a USB-C phone in DESKTOP mode it is a little inconvenient as the navigation on phone is visually different from what you see on the screen- USB-A to USB-C cannot be used for video transmission, so its just for charging to the main device or power outlet- some USB-C ports in devices like Surface Pro, OnePlus 6 doesn’t support video output. best to check your phones to manage expectation- there is 3 years warranty; to register just email the customer service with Amazon order ID (tho not 100% sure the process will be like for non-US residents)You will need adapters for the following (however if you email the company they will ship to you for free):> old MacBook version with thunderbolt port( mini DisplayPort to HDMI)> any iphone- very prompt email reply by the customer service. bonus free upgraded accessory!Some thoughts:- in general portable monitors are about $100ish more expensive than stand monitors, with smaller screen real estate a tradeoff for its portability. hence was considering to buy either the (i) cheapest model on Amazon (ii) unknown brands from local ecommerce (iii) directly from China Taobao/Aliexpress or (iv) local second-hand. In the end was convinced by the great reviews here and decided to pay a bit more for this one. Highly recommended!

So happy with these (bought 2 of them), apprehensive whether a 3 monitor setup would work without problems they exceled my expectations, the setup is flawless with no issues.Providing I have power to my laptop I don’t need extra power to the screens although they do provide power adaptors in the box if you need them.I haven’t touched any settings, haven’t even touched the power button, just plug them in, they light up and look awesome. The panels are crisp, clear and produce great colour.I travel with them for work, I can setup everything in seconds and the whole deal fits easy in my small laptop bag.The provided folding covers double as stands and do come off (only if you want them to) as they are magnetic to the screen, they work perfect & are good quality.The entire product is very good quality and that extends to the good solid cables provided giving a great range of connectivity out of the box (the photo shows cables for 2 monitors).Customer support is all over this product and actively push you to contact them which is very encouraging. I emailed them for warranty, they were straight on it and got back to me immediately.Loving my new setup, great for productivity at work 🙂

Dual monitor Cost I travel quite a bit and was looking for an option to have a decent size second monitor without having to lug my large monitor with stand from home. This was the perfect option for the price and quality. The 15.6in monitor is light weight and thinner than my laptop and fits in the computer bag nicely with the laptop and allows for a bigger screen for working. Easy set up at my travel locations and it comes with the needed cables to plug and play. Just used it while camping at the lake for Labor Day weekend. Next trip it will take a plane ride so I can work and have fun at the same time. Quality of the monitor is great, color is great. Purchased this after doing research and based on the rating score and reading reviews and it hasn’t disappointed. I plan to get another monitor so that I can have 3 monitors while traveling. I would definitely recommend this monitor and I did tell a co-worker about, who then purchased it as well and loves it.

I’m so impressed with this screen. I’m running it from my 2025 13″ MacBook Air. This gives me the advantage of genuine “plug & play” using the USB C lead (which provides power as well). It was literally a case of taking the screen out of the beautifully designed box, sorting out the stand (I had to watch the video to achieve that!), and plug the lead into my MacBook and then the screen. It instantly came to life, mirroring my desktop, and I hadn’t even removed the thoughtful and effective screen cover.Then I opened Displays in System Settings, selected “Extended”, and we were away. The size is perfect, being maybe one third larger than my Mac’s screen, yet taking up minimum additional desk space (I work on a small desk). It is SO convenient being able to have Photos on this new screen while I’m working on CapCut on my Mac. There will be many other uses as well I’m sure. I’d previously been using my iPad as my 2nd screen via Bluetooth. This worked OK, but wasn’t as large so I couldn’t display Photos at a satisfactory size.The screen is designed for travel but I doubt I will be taking it anywhere. It will either be disconnected and lying unobtrusively nearby, or connected and contributing hugely to the effectiveness of my work. When not needed it’s nearby, and when it is, it’s up and running in seconds.It’s very rare that I give Five stars, but this screen really does appear to be perfect. Cocopar, Thank you.
