Worked Perfectly
My dining area did not have a dimmer switch with a five-bulb light fixture, which meant the lighting over the table was either super bright or not at all. My wife would actually unscrew some of the lightbulbs to alter the mood, which didn’t look great After nine short years, I decided to do something about it and bought the Cloudy Bay in Wall Dimmer Switch. The instructions are clear, and with minimal electrical experience I was able to install the switch in only a few minutes. My only complaint was that the dimmer slider was all the way down, so I thought there was a problem when I turned the breaker back on and tried the switch the first time. After totally disassembling and rechecking everything, I realized it was just turned all the way down. So that was a little bit of hassle. Call it user error or whatever.I installed some candelabra style dimmable LED bulbs in cool white, and it looks amazing. Now we can have soft mood lighting for a nice dinner, or bright lights when working on school projects. There is a tiny delay in response time when using the slider, but nothing critical, and that was not a priority for me. We don’t slide it that often, and when we do, the response time does not matter at all. This was a wish list item for years, and I would definitely buy the Cloudy Bay wall dimmer switch again.

First dimmer I’ve tried that works properly with LED lights
This is the first dimmer I’ve tried that works properly with LED lights. It has an adjustment thumbwheel behind the faceplate where the installer set the correct minimum voltage for the type of bulb you use. This makes it so the switch on the dimmer that the user sets provides the proper range from “barely off” to “all the way on”. It was also a great price.

Good switch, but screws are missing
The switches are simple and elegant. Installation was straightforward, but I did have to connect the other red wire so that the open position is when the lower part is pressed down. This is slightly easier for operating the slider, although it is not a big deal. However, the said included screws for securing the inner plate were missing. Hope the seller will mail the screws to me (4 screws in total as I bought 2 units), otherwise I will have to hopefully get them from the local stores.Update: Contacted seller for the missing screws. Seller offered partial refund but I did not take it. Tried to look for compatible screws in Lowe’s with no luck. However, I was able to find some old switch covers and used screws from them. Troublesome but in the end the dimmer switches are working fine.At first a switch was used to control two 100W replacement LED lights but it did not work very well. I was able to adjust to make the dimmer work nicely, but the lights wouldn’t turn on unless the dimmer was in the max position. It was really frustrating as reported in some other reviews. Later two 60W replacement LED lights were used and everything worked fine since then.I may purchase a third one to control the five LED lights (60W replacement) in my bedroom if I can find a reasonable switch for the ceiling fan. Lutron is another option but their reviews do not look much better either.

Amazing function, easy to install, at half the price
Easy to install dimmer that looks great. It was hard to believe that this dimmer, rated at a higher wattage than anything in the Big Box stores was less than half the price. The switch is responsive (no detectable lag). The dimmer goes low, but not entirely off. I suppose that’s what that huge flip switch over the dimmer is for 😛Highly recommended 👍🏽 Helpful?👇🏽

Perfect fit and good quality
Bought as replacement and easy to install. Perfect fit to existing setup and quick install. Works better with dimmers then current switch.

Great dimmer set!!
Great dimmer! Initially one of the dimmers was flickering really bad so I contacted customer service and they were really good to work with and sent out a replacement immediately. Would definitely order again.

OK if it is Standalone (only one, read on)
These seem to work fine if they are on a standalone circuit and with one set of lights being controlled. I will explain what I mean. I recently installed 6 Cloudy Bay LED 4″ lights in my office. I put 3 on one dimmer and 3 on another, they are in the same box with the same circuit feeding them. I followed the directions to the “T”, set one dimmer with the (impedance) trimmer, then setup the other. If you turn just one on (at any dimmer setting), it is stable and will not flicker. If you have both on and at diff brightness levels, they will fight each other and flicker unless you can match the same brightness level on both. For now they get 3 stars as I have not had this issue out of Lutron (3 in the same gang box, same circuit – no issue!) or similar brands as they likely filter the incoming AC better in order to prevent this from happening.I believe these are indeed a “5-star” rated dimmer if you are only using one at a time and I will be ordering more for that specific purpose. I will also ensure they are used on 2 diff circuits to ensure no cross-talk between the dimmers.7/17 update:I will be returning these dimmers as even when I was using 1 of them, there was excessive flicker, EVEN WITH THEIR OWN LIGHTS! Don’t know if they had a bad batch or what because the other one seems to be OK. Went back to Lutron Diva C-L as they always work and have never had any issues with them. Costs more, but you get what you pay for!7/30-Went to return them to Amazon today. Was told, “Sorry, you are a day beyond the return period”. Stuck with junk dimmers. Just buy Lutron dimmers and save yourself a headache in the case you get one that is defective.
