Great product and great value
Just got delivered and I immediately unpacked it and brewed my first pot of coffee. Nice 12 cup capacity, temperature was right to my liking, very easy setup, filling instructions produced a delicious pot of coffee. Very pleased I also found the grinder works very well, easy to clean and very quiet operation in comparison to two other machines I have had. Very pleased and in my opinion, a great product and value.

Flawless and delicious!!!
We have owned two of these and have enjoyed having delicious coffee from freshly-ground, excellent beans (Lavazza Top Choice, sometimes espresso version but usually filtro), programmed the night before. Heavenly coffee to wake up to. Both of our Black & Decker Mill & Brew coffee makers have performed flawlessly. To the reviewer who can’t get her filter out: use the swing-up handle on it, and it comes right out. We had the 1st over six years, and I bought a second simply bc I didn’t know how to properly clean the fine-meshed filter and it accumulated some hard debris. I scraped it out with a sharp knife! The new one, which I’ve easily kept clean for almost 3 years now, I just spray out with the kitchen spray hose, first inside, then from the outside along each section (sides and bottom). Takes only a minute. I also run it through the dishwasher every month or two and that’s all it takes. I also give a quick rinse to the funnel that holds the filter. Easy to use, SUPERB coffee that stays hot and somehow doesn’t get bitter nearly as quickly as with other coffee makers and coffee brands. Great features: select how long to grind, how strong to make, when to start brewing (immediately, or program), etc. Love it and will likely buy another just to stash in the basement to have when this one eventually goes. As grinders go, it isn’t very loud, though if our bedroom door is open, we do hear it go off in the morning…this has become a very happy sound association. After over eight years, we still get excited about getting up for a cup of Lavazza Top Class, freshly ground and brewed in an EXCELLENT coffee maker. Lower maintenance than the pricey super-automatics, way more affordable, easy cleaning, and–best of all–amazing coffee. Highly recommend.

Still the best-kept secret drip maker out there, but….
This might be my 5th or 6th one of these; I’ve owned them since before Black and Decker purchased the original maker (Breville?). Yes, it’s a blade grinder vs burr for us coffee snobs. However, waking up to freshly-ground hot coffee is still a joy in this life. Plus when I do get snobby or it’s a special coffee I use my separate burr-grinder and put the grinds in the basket that way, and obviously it works just fine with pre-ground coffee. Why have I been through so many? Well, first of all we’re talking about over a period of maybe 20 years. At least 1 replacement was a broken carafe and it was easier and almost cheaper at the time to just buy a new machine. Another time I thought my blades were getting dull, but on my new machine they weren’t much sharper (they’re really not sharp at all). And while I’m pretty good about cleaning my machine regularly using either vinegar or commercial products, sometimes it just doesn’t work as well as it used to and it’s time for a new one.Really easy to clean overall, and I like a LOT of variation in my coffee (generally have around a half-dozen in vacuum cans at any given time), so that’s why I prefer this style over models that take like a full pound for the storage bin. If you only use one type of whole bean then maybe that is a better product for you but of course this one would still work and is MUCH cheaper than those styles.THE 1-STAR DING PROBLEM: After all these (5-star) models that have gone through my hands, I re-upped with another new system last month (the old one was about 7 years old and no amount of cleaning was bettering the drip). I noticed in the reviews some people were mentioning a clicking noise from the hot plate; something I had never experienced in the past. And OMG—sure enough, on my 1st brew with the new machine the hot plate cycled on and the amount of clicks and pops were like popcorn being made, lasting about 15 seconds every minute or so and loud! It was SO annoying! Really sounded like the glass carafe was cracking every time. After a week it only seemed to actually worsen, so I exchanged it. Next one……exact same thing. Exchanged it again….and this one still pops and crackles a little bit but MUCH more quietly and not nearly as numerous (like, maybe 2 or 3 light pops when the plate cycles). So, something changed in their internal works and I guess it’s hit or miss at the moment. All that said and on the plus side, the hot plate with these 3 new models is definitely hotter than any of the ones I’ve owned in the past. I never got into the thermal carafe thing and also usually would microwave my mug for about 45 seconds to warm it up further—I don’t really need to do that anymore because it’s definitely keeping the coffee hotter. I hope the clicks and pops might settle down over time as the metal, glass and plastic “wear in”; and if it does I’ll upgrade the review.TLDR—amazing coffeemaker, particularly for the cost but some new manufacturing has made it noisy. Screw ‘em! Keep exchanging it until you get a quieter one, give B&D your feedback, and hopefully they’ll fix the issue. Enjoy!!

Best coffee maker ever!
Hands down, this is the best coffee maker with built in grinder I’ve ever owned! I bought it in July 2020, it’s now October 2025, and she’s still working perfectly. My husband and I love everything about this machine. You can program the grind, number of cups, what time you want or to brew, all the things. The burr is in the brew basket, so there is no cure for the grounds to clog up in on the way to the brew basket. It’s just one piece, and so easy to clean. You deserve this coffee maker!

I have no idea why anyone would complain about this machine. It’s super easy to use and easy to clean and produces a great cup of coffee. I was always hesitant about buying a machine with a built in grinder because I assumed it would require too much cleaning but not this guy. You can remove the filter basket as well as the interior basket with the shower head so you can make sure everything is squeaky clean before you make coffee again. Super easy. Also Black & Decker makes a good product. My previous coffee maker was a B&D basic bitch model and I had it for over 10 years at least. Over all, great product and worth the money.

Excelente cafetera.Es practica e intuitiva para usarse. No necesita filtro de papel y es muy facil de limpiar.El molino es bueno, aunque no se puede ajustar la calidad del molido.Muy recomendable

Loved it as much as I love my expresso it successfully replaced my all in one espresso -latte -cappuccino maker as I am only intersted in my black coffee had to use a step down voltage for American / Canadian use in India …that cost me as much as the machine cost but the output is a perfect cup of joe each time , moreover I knew it before I bought it so no hard feelings for that😉 …grinds beans to a perfection and is quite user friendly even though with a professional touch !!
