Perfect solution to a common problem
Power strips that have low profile plugs are fairly easy to find these days, but it’s a lot more difficult to find one where the cord leaves the plug in the direction you need it to. This solves that problem. you can turn the prongs on the plug and any direction you need them to go. And it doesn’t hurt that the design is attractive and appears to be fairly sturdy. I’ve been using mine for over a month at this point and I’m very happy with it.

Power Switch Does Not Light
This is exactly what I was looking for, with one exception. The power switch does not light when in the “ON” position, which is an inconvenience. I was mislead by the fact that the power switch is red in color. Yes, I know very well what happens when we “assume” It would be nice if the description could be changed to let other “assumers” know they shouldn’t expect a light. Other than that, this is a good and inexpensive power strip. Update: On an online chat with a Belkin representative, I was told that the power switch did NOT have a light. But in answer to my question here on the Amazon page, The Belkin company replied that it DOES have a light on the power switch. It would be helpful if a model number was included in Amazon’s description so that we could get a definitive answer.

Convenient swivel plug!
The flat swivel plug is very convenient behind furniture and the swivel plug allows you to direct the cord where needed. It’s narrow enough to fit in small spaces!

I love it
My kitchen only has one electrical outlet, placed on a wall with hardly any counter space, which effectively renders it useless. It was also installed with the grounding prong holes on top, so all the low-profile extension cords I found would point in the wrong direction I wanted the cord to go. So I was really happy to find this one.The cord is kind of thick and still has a memory from being coiled up in the package, but I’m hoping with time it will straighten out. But I’m not bothered too much by what it looks like. I now have electrical outlets where the appliances are and that’s the important thing.

for my purposes it works great. however, the onoff switch does NOT light up at all. seeing as the cheap crap power bars are like $8 (unless you go dollar store which I wouldn’t recommend) it’s worth the price. I’ve had it plugged in for almost 12 hours now and it doesn’t heat up at all… other than the switch not indicating onoff with lighting up, pretty goodUPDATE! it does heat up a bit (almost like you blew into your hands to warm them) if you have high drain devices plugged in… with one of those “mp3” clocks and a walmart honeywell smaller fan (tried different ones) plugged in at the same time it does (not to the point of burning though)… also tried different outlets…. would still recommend though as it is cheaper than “monster”
