Supportive, Comfy, and Great Sleep from Night One
I bought this mattress for a guest bedroom, but after testing it out myself, I honestly kind of want one for my own room. It arrived rolled up and compressed in a box, and I was impressed with how easy it was to set up—just unbox, unwrap, and it started expanding right away. It had barely any odor, which was a big relief since I’ve had other boxed mattresses that needed days to air out.Once it was fully expanded (within a few hours), the mattress looked and felt really high-quality. The surface has just the right amount of cushioning without being too soft—it’s definitely on the medium-firm side, which I personally like. I’ve had some back issues in the past, and when I laid on this, it felt supportive and evenly balanced. The pocket coils underneath give it a nice bounce while also helping with motion isolation. I tested it by sitting on one side while placing a cup on the other, and the cup barely moved—so it should be perfect for light sleepers or anyone sharing a bed.One feature I really appreciate is the edge support. You can sit or lie near the edge without feeling like you’re about to slide off, which isn’t always the case with mattresses in this price range. The hybrid construction really makes it feel more stable overall. Sweet Dreams Start with Avenco
Upon unboxing this mattress, I anticipated a decent night’s sleep. The setup was straightforward – it expanded adequately on my bed frame. I noted the comfortable feel of the surface. Lying down, the mattress provided a reasonable level of body support. I tend to shift in my sleep, and motion from my partner was less noticeable. This mattress appears to handle motion isolation quite well. I generally wake up feeling rested, which is a welcome improvement. The breathable fabric seems to contribute to a cooler sleep environment. I used to have some trouble settling down, but now I fall asleep with more ease. The edges offer sufficient support, making it easier to sit on the side. This mattress has made a noticeable difference in my sleep experience. It seems to be a product of decent quality that should hold up over time. I am content with my choice of the Avenco Queen Mattress. Each morning, I am prepared to return to it later. It is a reasonable investment for personal comfort.

Comfort
The mattress was not easy to unbox and the instructions were not clear on set up. The corners slightly sag and the sides are uneven. I let it expand for 72 hours so that was not the problem. Other than that it is a comfortable mattress. I just don’t see it lasting 10 years as promised.

Amazing Customer Service- Good but flawed for daily use
Edit: the customer support team reached out to me shortly after leaving this review and offered me a gift card or replacement mattress. I opted for a replacement. I sent the support person the link to my previous mattress that I loved and they sent back what they felt were similar options. After checking the reviews I selected one. The shipping was quick and I just unboxed it. But I am updating my review to 5 stars because the customer service was truly top notch. Shoutout to August for being amazing!I really wanted to love this mattress but I’m struggling. I have another Avenco mattress and I LOVE it, unfortunately they don’t seem to sell it anymore so I searched their available mattresses and read reviews and landed on this one.Pros:- Comfort: it is a firm but soft mattress and is really comfortable- Delivery: super easy no issues- Set up: the mattress rose to proper form quickly and there was no funny smellCons:- Soft Edges: the edges are so soft I feel like I’m going to roll off. I even spun the mattress hoping for a different result and it was the same. If my large dog lays on the edge it feels like we could both roll off at any point- Holes/Soft Spots: there are soft spots/holes in the mattress almost like some padding or something was not distributed properly.All of this said, if it wasn’t a daily use mattress it would be a good investment but for daily use it isn’t my favorite. I have to get just in the right spot to be comfortable. Thank goodness it was inexpensive or I would be much more upset
