What I like most about this camera is that the solar panel is built into the top of the camera, which makes installation easier and avoids extra cables. Being wireless and battery powered.The image quality is suitable for everyday monitoring, and the PIR motion sensor detects activity when there is movement. The dual-band WiFi connection has remained stable so far. Overall, it has been working as expected for basic home security.

Great Wireless Solar Security Cameras – Easy Setup
I’m very happy with this ARCCCTV wireless security camera set. The installation was quick and simple, and since they are battery-powered with solar panels, I don’t have to worry about running wires or constantly recharging them.The video quality is clear both during the day and at night. Motion detection works well and sends alerts to my phone right away. The cameras connect easily to WiFi and the app is user-friendly.I also like that this is a 2-pack, which makes it perfect for covering more areas around the house. Great solar option!
The solar cameras are really great. They look very classy very easy to install. Good quality video. The brightness is very good. Doesn’t need any batteries or any wires and the charges by itself with the solar panels. This makes a great product if you don’t want the hassle of wires and batteries Good quality product and definitely value for money. I find this to be a great catch.

Technical Support Sucks
UPDATE: 12/23/25. The camera that was replaced free of charge is no longer working. It will not connect to my WiFi no matter what I try. I have now spent $$ on the cameras and $180 on the recording software for cameras that don’t work. Do not buy these cameras. UPDATE: Seller saw this review and sent me a new free camera. I installed it and bought a new subscription and so far the camera is recording. I’ll update this review in 6 months as long as the camera keeps recording as it should. Appreciate the seller contacting me on the phone to get me the new camera.I’m getting notifications when I picked these cameras because they had solar panels and I would never have to replace batteries. Also they offer SIM card or purchased cloud recording. As of now, one of the cameras does not and will not record at all. BEWARE, the only technical support I have found is online using their app. And it has not and will not fix this problem. So now I have one camera that records to the cloud as it should and the other that won’t record at all to the cloud in spite of the fact that I paid for a full year of cloud recording. I’ve done everything their online technical support has told me to do multiple times and the camera still won’t record to the cloud. The technical support for these cameras is terrible.

Easy Setup and Works Well So Far
I’ve had these cameras set up for a few days now, and they’ve been working better than I expected. The wireless install was simple, and not having to deal with running wires was a huge plus. The solar panel keeps the battery topped off, and motion alerts have been accurate without being annoying. The picture quality is clear enough to see what’s going on around the house. Overall, they feel like a solid, low-maintenance security option.

Very good wifi solar cameras
I purchased these to install for a customer of mine. I also purchased 2 micro SD cards that way I don’t have to pay for cloud storage. The cameras have crisp 2k quality and the solar charging works phenomenal. I would avoid placing this camera somewhere there is constant motion because your battery won’t last as long especially in the winter months when we have less sun. Unless you run a usb c to supply permanent power. Will definitely purchase these again. Its been almost 2 months and no problems. They do also have a built in spotlight for perfect color night vision. Great value for the cost.

The App and video of events is horrible. Camera clarity is very good. Field of view is small.
Two stars for the two ARCCTV solar security cameras. The ease of use of the app is not good. The one camera that is very close to the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting from the Wi-Fi. The field of view is very poor. Quality & Look: These cameras are big and heavy. I don’t know about the solar power battery life yet as I have just installed them. The battery life should be okay since they are installed in the sunlight in Florida. I have them set to continuous recording which uses more battery.The motion detection falls very short. It’s horrible. The motion detection always records the event towards the very end of the actual event. It seems to start recording very late. SEE VIDEO. There is no way to see the full video of the man approaching the house. What you see in this video is what you get. I have no idea why he was at the house before 6:00 a.m. Not good functionality.Functionality: the quality of the camera view is nice and clear but the field of view is horribly small. The app has problems with viewing past events. You cannot continuous recording as the app always wants to skip forward to the next event after a few seconds of recording. Every time I try to go back in the timeline it just skips forward automatically. Continuous recording does not people or movement events. The timeline slider is horrible.I tried the speaker but I don’t know if it works properly as I could not hear the person talking back to me.These security cameras seem like they are solid but they aren’t the best. The return window closed so I had no choice but to keep them. I’ll keep searching for better cameras.I purchased these so they would record even when the electricity goes out during a hurricane in Florida.
