Just WOW!
I can’t say enough about this! First of all it has fixed every issue we’ve had and thought it was the internet or the channels themselves. Even had a strange sound thing happening and that doesn’t occur anymore! It’s super fast and the picture quality is amazing! No more need for any other remote as you can turn off and on your tv with this. Easy access buttons to Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and Peacock. So easy to set up and great connectivity! We’re very impressed!

Easy-to-Use Streaming Device – Great for Older TVs
I bought this Fire TV Stick 4K Max because my old smart TV couldn’t download some applications, so I needed an external device. This Fire Stick is very easy to use and operate. Setup was simple — just plug it into the HDMI port on the side of the TV and control everything with the included remote, which doesn’t need batteries.I also purchased the “Made for Amazon” USB Power Cable, which eliminates the need for an AC adapter, so the stick can draw power directly from the TV. Connectivity is excellent, buffering is minimal, and the device feels very durable. Overall, a reliable and user-friendly streaming device that works perfectly for upgrading older TVs.

The best streaming stick Amazon makes.If you’re debating between the regular 4K stick and the Max, just get the Max. It’s significantly faster, has double the storage (16GB), and the Wi-Fi 6E support makes it more “future-proof.” Setup took less than 5 minutes, and Alexa voice search works perfectly for finding movies across different apps. It’s turned my aging smart TV into a high-end entertainment hub. Highly recommended!

Solved my Disney+ problem!
2025-06-07. Fire TV Stick by Amazon. 4K max streaming device. WiFi 6E. Free and live TV without cable or satellite subscription.So with my phone plan, I get a free subscription to Disney+; however, my older model TV doesn’t support Disney+ for some strange reason. I get Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime just fine, but for some reason, Disney doesn’t work. In speaking with my friends, and one told me to get a Fire Stick. The Amazon Fire stick will override the TV’s interface and I would be able to access all the apps, including Disney+.Well, they were 100% correct! This solved my problem! The toughest part of this entire thing was deciding which Fire Stick to buy. My friend had told me any one would work as it’s just a different interface. So get one that matches your TV’s specifications. Remember any system is only as good as its weakest link. If you only have a 1080P (HD) TV, then buying a 4K Fire Stick will do nothing to improve the picture quality, it’ll still max out at 1080P (maybe 2160P if you have a upconverter.) However, if you plan on upgrading your TV in the near future, you may want to consider buying a higher grade TV. That’s exactly what I did. I know my TV needs an upgrade, and I’ll probably go a little bigger in size to. The standard is pretty much 4K so the 4K Fire Stick was a safe bet for me.One other thing people don’t really think about is the signal. Remember systems and the weakest link? Well, your signal is part of that system. Unless you have a 4K signal, your 4K TV will never reach it’s maximum capability. This is why upconverting is not necessarily a bad thing. Upconverting is taking a lower quality signal and converting it to a finer one. Why isn’t there a lot of 4K content? Well most cable internet plans cap out at 1.2TB per month, and if you stream a lot of 4K, you’ll hit that well within the 30 days and incur heavy over-charges.Set up of the Fire Stick can’t be easier. It’s a simple plug and play set-up. Another great thing about the Fire Stick is that it’s the size of old USB memory sticks which makes them highly portable!Overall, this 4K Fire Stick did exactly what I needed. It retails for $60, but currently (at the time of this posting), it’s on sale for 1/3 off. Even better, if you have an older model, or if you want to upgrade your Fire Stick, Amazon will give you and extra 20% for trade ins!

If it’s an Amazon fire stick, what more can you say. I bought it as our old plasma TV was not smart. It Works very well, and it has a large variety of apps. The remote works very well.The connection with my wifi was easy. It was paired to my account when it arrived. We like the voice control when finding movies or shows. Buffering does not seem to be an issue, and I rarely have any connectivity issues. It is better than Roku sticks by far.
