Excellent updates on an already awesome light!
I stumbled upon the IVISII brand a while ago and decided to give their products a try and I’m so happy that I did.This upgraded IR-45 Ring Light Set by IVISII is exceptional. I purchased and have used their original IR-45 regularly for several months and was excited when I saw that they were releasing an updated model.While many times the only option is to purchase high quality items a la cart or buy a lesser quality as a set I was so pleased with this set. Every piece in this set is constructed from high quality components and performs beautifully.It comes with a light filter, a white softening filter, which snaps snuggly around the ring light and can be attached and detached with ease.The set is complete with a standard 1/4” camera mounting bracket, a 1/4” mini ball head mounting bracket and a universal cell phone bracket. I’ve had no problems attaching and detaching all of my equipment repeatedly.The light performs incredibly well. Due to the 19” size, it casts an immense amount of light. The new multi control knob is AWESOME- making adjusting the light output effortless – I can easily adjust the brightness of the bulbs from 1-100% just by spinning the dial and with a simple press of the knob’s center button, I have complete control over the temperature (or color of the light) from 3,000 Kelvin (soft white) – 5,800 Kelvin (Daylight).Below the digital readout screen and the adjustment knob there are buttons with allow for the light to be synced with other lights so when this light is adjusted all of the others on that channel will automatically change as well. In addition there is a button that will step up the brightness in increments for quick adjustments when testing different shots.This light can be synced with an optional remote control that IVISII offers. Couldn’t be better!
The shipping was superb, it came fast and without damage. This light is SUPER bright, which is going to be perfect for streaming games. Assembly was a breeze once I watched LifeWithLo’s youtube video on it, she goes into great detail about how to set everything up. The height, the brightness, the angle, all of that stuff is adjustable so you can have the perfect set up. The tripod is sturdy and you can twist the knob to make it tight. I’m a truck driver so I have to set up and take this down with every use, and my very first time it only took me about 8 minutes to break everything back down. Even better it comes with two black carrying bags for the light and the tripod. I was also able to put my logitech webcam on the phone stand! This is a STEAL for the price! Highly highly recommend!

Best lighting for portrait work
Fantastic product! I am a hair stylist and I use photos of my work for self promotion. Before getting this product I could only take successful pictures at certain times of the day. Capturing brunette hair was always a challenge because my camera could never pick up details or undertones. Blondes always looked yellowy in photos, even though they weren’t in real life. Any bridal or color work on dark hair was useless for me to advertise with. Which is frustrating since the majority of my clientele are dark haired. Now I can bring out tone, and detail in my brunettes. My clients glow! Everyone’s complexion looks so good, they are asking for copies of the photos for themselves!- easy to assemble- straight forward controls- very bright! I put it together in my dark livingroom and it looked like daylight in there on the highest setting- everything is super adjustable- the carrying case is very convenient- the ring itself is very large in comparison to other productsIt shipped on time and was packaged wellVery happy with my purchase!

Amazing but wish it had directions
The light was easy to figure out, great interface. I wish assembly came with instructions bc this is my first ring light and it took me a while to figure out the attachment to the tripod and the camera attachment. That being said, I am using this for art. I am not a pro photographer but the reason I went with this light is the CRI which is high, and being a painter it’s important for the light to be close to perfect. I love it! The only change I’d make to the design is I’d have a flexible arm like the diva ring, this one does adjust up and down but being able to bend it to the right position would be amazing.Pro tip- watch one of the videos of unboxing and you’ll be able to put it together easier.lovvvve my light, hope it lasts.Would love to test out two of the side lights and do a video on how to protograph art.It’s so expensive to have professionally done at $40+/image … teaching artists to controlTheir own ability to photograph for content and marketing is so important

The overall build is sturdy. The casing for the lighting could be better built but all in all a good product. Produces a great amount of light. With the full array of features this products use in the right hands can be remarkable. However I wish it did come with a remote for those who look to buy/own multiple units in the future.
