The perfect thermometer
This is the best thermometer. I love that when it’s finished doing its reading you wait a second or two and then it lights up the dial so you can easily read the temperature. Some people complain that it’s low on battery. That is a natural reading of the thermometer while it’s booting up. I have three of them now I love them. And if you’re older, and your eyesight is not the best and unique glasses this is for you. Plus, it’s easy in your mouth. It’s very flexible and it only takes a few seconds to treat your temperature. I find it very accurate.

I would recommend the Vicks Comfort Flex thermometer
This is my 3rd or 4th order of this same Vicks thermometer. The first two came with a plastic holder (which I saved before throwing out the 2nd one). The other Vicks comfort flex thermometers had a beep when they were done taking temperature, but this new one I got today (12/1/25) doesn’t make a sound (I guess unless I would have a temperature, then it will make a sound according to the description). All in all, I trust this Vicks thermometer for accurate temperatures, as long as you don’t eat or drink anything at least 10-15 minutes before taking your temperature.

Great little thermometer
This thermometer it very easy to use. It can be quick, which sometimes I do not trust so I do three recordings and take the average. Thats just the scientist in me I guess. But for being as cheap as it is, I guess it averages out. My favorite thing about this is the lights that show when the temperature is taken. Green for good, orange for fever slight fever, and red for bad fever (although I haven’t seen the red yet… it is a good thing).I think this thermometer is a great little thing to have handy, it feels nice and I feel like after taking the average it is about accurate. The beeping when it is finished is not to loud, which I also appreciate.

Great for multiple fast readings.
As a physician this is my go-to thermometer for my travel bag and family home. In the clinic we use the Welch Allen and at $300 they are terrific. Here at the house however, anyone could grab it and there is a chance it just may get dropped in the water.The fast read thermometer allows you to take several reads and find an average or throw out an outlier. The price and ease of reading make them a winner.

Cannot be Used Without Additional Purchase
This product cannot be used out of the box. According to the instructions, in all caps, “YOU MUST COVER THE THERMOMETER’S TIP WITH A SINGLE-USE, DISPOSABLE PROBE COVER. Probe cover not included.” I’m not sure what will happen, but my guess is it may affect the accuracy of the readings. So now I have to go buy these separately.

Good choice
I have chronic illness and often feel feverish even though I rarely get fevers. I thought it was time to get a thermometer to keep an eye out. I chose this one because of it’s flexibility (I cannot stand a hard thermometer stabbing me).This thermometer is comfortable and fast.
