good, fast (on usb3) external storage
Purchase this as an external swap drive so that I could upgrade my internal drive without having to reload the operating system. It was fast and seemed dependable and I now plan to use it for regular backups.

Cool drive, BUT…
Very nicely packed with 2 usb-c cables, compact and really sturdy looking.Fast performance, easy to setup.The Online Registration wanted an unbelievable amount of personal info including shue-size, fingerprints and dental records.Not worth it for the price – IF it dies, I’ll just get another one.PS – Don’t fall for the “free” copy of Acronis Backup – only works on your PNY drive.

so far so good..no problems at all. I’m very happy with this ssd. doesn’t get hot and it’s very fast. the numbers advertised are right on when tested with crystaldiskmark..very good for the money too. and it seems to be very durable. I would recommend..thanks.

received a damaged pny pro elite v2.yes its fast but the usb-c port isnt a good or a smooth one. can cause in future some loose in the ssd board or internal cracks.

Tenía fichados varios SSD externos otras marcas, sobretodo los de una famosa marca que fabrica móviles, y tengo que decir que este está al nivel (incluso por encima) de algunos modelos top.Me dedico al audiovisual y si algo no tengo es espacio, en cada proyecto nuevo acumulo decenas de videos que pesan bastante. O lo que es lo mismo: necesitaba un SSD externo lo suficientemente rápido como para poder editar incluso desde él, sin tener que pasar los archivos al ordenador.En este puedo editar proyectos en Davinci y Premiere (1080p 4:2:2) desde el propio SSD, que no es poca cosa. Agiliza bastante el trabajo. Llevo tiempo con él y no me arrepiento de haberlo comprado.
