Well, I am probably the weird one here, because although I have an iMac and originally intended to use it for that, I got the bright idea to pop it on top of my Mac Mini. BOOM! Now, with a dock below and above, I’m feeling pretty good about my setup!The only struggle is the separate power for the wireless charging – it makes it a little less clean than I want. But still cool!Let’s dig in. First, that separate power for the wireless charging – it doesn’t come with the box, so just know that. Kind of seems standard for a lot of companies now, so it wasn’t a big deal. I always want more ports, so I never think there is enough – still, this adds a decent amount of ports (two USB-A, two USB-C, SD and micro SD) and I like the arrangement of them. It feels easy to access, and they are labeled clearly – something that bothers me on other hubs, especially when you need to distinguish USB port speeds. There is something to the plastic that feels a bit off and cheap, and this is by far my biggest issue. Though honestly, it is likely mostly aesthetic. It’s got a sort of gloss/sheen that feels and looks a bit weird. Next to the Mac Mini, it’s not the sleekest match in materials, but I still love the space-saving. I also am not a big fan of the connecting cord being permanently attached, but that is because I have had cords that fail and I like being able to switch them out. Plus the rope is a little less easy to manipulate/tie than other cords. The wireless charging seems to work well. I have a Samsung Galaxy 25+ with a pretty minimal case on the back. The sleek plastic and design, though, can make it easy for me to knock off. Connectivity has been reliable so far, with no issues. I haven’t noticed any speed problems or connection drops. Overall, a great fit for my iMac and even better for my Mac Mini!!

I spend a lot of time at my desk as a college from home student so I needed something that I could use for my cables and chargers. I snapped this up and hoped it would become my best friend and it totally has!What I liked -It sits on the base of my iMac and is a tight snug fit. Just slide it on and it clicks into place.It supports up to 10Gbps so large file transfers are quick and easy.Connects with multiple different USB ports.Things to note -There is a wire on the back to connect to the iMac. This is pretty short so it cannot reach anything else.Here is the reason why this is 3 stars – It has a wireless charger so you can sit the phone on top to charge it but if you have a thick case on it doesn’t seem to work. It connected after a few tries but kept disconnecting, I kept hearing the disconnect and connect sound while the phone (iPhone15 plus) wasn’t moving. You also can only use this function while connected to an external power source. The ports for this source are on the side which means that you have a wire sticking out of the unit, taking up desk space. I think they should’ve made an extra port on the back to hide this wire or made it so the charged can be used via the iMac connection.Bottom line -It’s helpful if you’re at your desk a lot or plan to transfer a lot of files but I don’t really like the charger so I just pull out the external cable and charge my phone with that, defeating the purpose. I probably wouldn’t recommend due to this issue.

Les iMac 2021/2023/2024 n’ont que 4 ports — difficile de s’en contenter sans hub. Celui-ci est très complet : ports USB, USB-C, lecteur SD, et même recharge iPhone (non testée de mon côté).Il s’insère parfaitement sur le pied de l’iMac, ne glisse pas, ne bouge pas. J’ai testé avec un disque dur externe et une carte SD : tout fonctionne bien, les transferts sont rapides.En ce qui concerne le lecteur SD : la carte doit être insérée face noire vers le haut, elle dépasse un peu trop et ne s’enclenche pas facilement. Un système à ressort aurait été plus pratique, mais ça fonctionne très bien.Un design bien pensé, bien plus élégant qu’un hub suspendu à un fil. J’aurais bien vu plusieurs coloris au lieu du blanc : un bleu métallisé ou une teinte assortie au style iMacJe recommande pour sa fixation stable et les connectiques qu’il ajoute !
