Great, easy-to-read display, plug and play, terrific price – get one if you need one
This is a great little weather station for a low price. Have used it for about a month to make sure it would last before reviewing. Bright, sharp black and white display that sits vertically (taking up less counter space), which is easy to read, unlike some of the color versions. AC pluggable keeps the display on at all times and you can choose your brightness option. You will need an outlet or power strip with a USB port. It displays Outdoor/Indoor temperature and humidity (only info I need here in Texas), weather forecast, and barometric info/averaging. It DOES NOT have time or date (just use your phone if you’re confused). Without the clock/calendar all you need to do is plug it in, put batteries in the outdoor sensor and you’re done – no pushing a bunch of buttons – just use it. I hope this lasts longer than the previous ones I’ve owned (from expensive companies). They seemed to last a week after the one year warranty ended. A really great buy at this price!

Mini weather station
I am loving this indoor outdoor weather station. With the warmer weather right around the corner this will be helpful in determining if its warmer or cooler outside. The monitor shows the outside and inside temperature along with the humidity level. It was very easy to setup up just needed a couple batteries for the sensor and the monitor. They do include a cord for use with the monitor. All and all this is a neat addition to our home. I like to see what the temperature is before I make my way out for the day and this device works well.

An excellent, compact, WiFi thermometer / barometer
Unni’s latest product offers exceptional value.It reliably shows temperature and barometric pressure and has worked flawlessly for a month.Upgrades from previous models include barometric pressure monitoring and an AC adapter, enabling continuous backlight for easy viewing without draining the battery.The batteries in the Wifi sensor which sends data to the display are all still going strong, even after a month with temperatures dropping sometimes to -10F. Impressive!I live in Alaska near the coast, where wild temperature swings and changes in weather play a big part in daily life.I heartily recommend Unni, and this model in particular.Update: I have three of these units now, and all three are still functioning flawlessly on the same batteries. This is extremely impressive given Alaskan winter temperatures. -27F can break a lot of things, and I am amazed that these are still perfect.Update: it has now been so long since I bought these units, that I cannot remember not having them. The outdoor sensors are still running on the same batteries. Amazing quality – have not failed once.

Gets the basics right, but the barometer is useless
I’m overall quite pleased with this device, but it does have a notable flaw: the barometer is pretty much useless. Firstly, it only refreshes hourly. Where I live, the weather can change three times in that space of time. Secondly, it is inaccurate. It’s pretty much stuck at sea-level pressure (29.88 inHg), or within 0.1 inHg above or below it. I “calibrated” it using the instructions, but over a few hours it reverted to the measurement it showed out of the box. Because the barometer doesn’t work, the weather forecast icon (something the instructions say should be 75% accurate) is wrong more often than it’s right. On the plus side, the station and its companion sensor work well, communicating easily with one another at setup, and the display is very easy to read. Although the unit was pretty inexpensive, I wonder if I could have saved money purchasing a unit that omitted the barometer and weather “forecasting”.

Display quality is very nice but the up/down temperature & barometer “arrows” are just too small to see. The weather forecast picture graphic is my favorite feature. That with the barometer pressure history lets you know at glance what to expect 12 to 24 hours in advance. It will also notify you when the outside sensor battery is weak and needs replacement. I has 2 backlit display levels or off. I did find the outside temp to be off by +1 degree. A power cord is included BUT, it does NOT come with a USB power bar for the base station. 3 AAA’s can be used. Outside sensor needs 2 AA batteries. Plug and play and requires no setup. Makes a great gift.

Accurate Weather Station That’s Actually Easy to Use
After playing with this weather station for about a month, I’m pretty impressed with how it performs! Setup was straightforward – just put batteries in both units, set the time, and they connected automatically within minutes. The outdoor sensor was easy to mount under my porch eave using the included hardware. The display is crisp and easy to read from across the room – the numbers are large enough that I can check the temp without my reading glasses. The backlight feature is great at night and I appreciate the different brightness settings. I’ve compared the readings with my old thermometer and they’re consistently within 1 degree which gives me confidence in the accuracy. The humidity readings have been super helpful for monitoring our basement which tends to get damp. The barometric pressure history is a nice bonus feature – I’ve actually gotten pretty good at predicting rain by watching the trend! Range is excellent – my sensor is about 100ft from the display with a wall in between and I’ve never lost connection. The USB power option is convenient for the main display but I still use batteries as backup during power outages. Battery life seems decent so far – no signs of draining after a month of continuous use. The forecast icons are cute but not always spot-on accurate compared to professional weather services. One small design flaw is that the buttons on the back are a bit small and fiddly if you have larger fingers. The temperature updates every 30 seconds as claimed which is frequent enough for practical purposes. Overall this has been a useful addition to our home and definitely worth the price for the features you get!

If you are looking for a simple, easy to read, weather station…this is it. It is back lit, with a dim or dark function, seems accurate and was just what I was looking for. I have it in the bedroom and appreciate the fact that I can turn the back light off for sleeping.

This is a really good little weather station. My full weather station’s sensor went, so I needed something. This does the trick. It’s accurate with Environment Canada, which is a good thing. I think it was worth the purchase.
